When booking on here, It wasn't too clear about the extra cost of breakfast and also when we arrived, the receptionist told us what time this was but then when we came down for it the next morning, said we had not booked. Needs to be clear on check in and booked then. It would have perhaps been good to have been informed about the wedding taking place when we were there.

Amazing breakfast even though I had a flight in the morning and he gave me breakfast at 6 Am. He helped me to exchange money and bought a SIM for me. It's a little bit far from the centre but you can grab a taxi at low cost it's not the problem but you will be happy to stay here.. at the end he also helped me for the departure. I never feel that I'm out of my house"

По информация от сайта - размерът на стаята е 15 кв.м. За стая Nо 2 тази квадратура вероятно включва и банята, и балкона. Стаята е изключително малка. За една-две нощи е ОК, но за по-дълга ваканция за двама не е за предпочитане. Би било добре да се постави закачалка за връхни дрехи (към момента липсва).

"Det var et rigtig fint sted og det var lækkert med pool. Det første hus vi skulle have haft kunne døren ikke lukkes men vi fik bare et nyt hus. Det var rent men lidt slidt- men som vores datter sagde "det er jo også dumt at skrifte det ud hvis det virker". Rigtig hyggeligt med veranda."

Måske kunne vi have tænkt os at få skiftet skraldespande hver dag og ikke hver 3. Samme med håndklæder da luftfugtigheden gjorde det svært at få dem tørre fra dag til dag

"Amazing and chilled place to stay just a few metres from great restaurants and the main plaza. Naum is the heart and soul of the hostel. He manages everything and takes good care of everything. The dorms are basic, the kitchen well equipped and breakfast included. Would recommend it any time"

"Lovely jamaican couple running a little Guest House just 5 min away from the beach. The highlight of the stay was the pool and the served food for dinner. I highly recommend eating at the Guest House! The rooms were spacious and nicely temperature thanks to the well working AC. If you looking for a nice and peaceful place to stay close to kokrobite, don't miss out on that one!"

"The room and outdoor areas were very nice. The bed was comfortable. It was great to have a kettle, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to messages."

It's hard to escape noise in this part of the world. There was some very loud music playing at local bars at night. We had to kill a lot of mosquitos

Room didn’t look exactly how it does in the pictures, but was still nice. There were a lot of mosquitoes around though and I did get bitten in the night a lot due to no mosquito net, so make sure you wear repellent. Location is on the opposite side of bikini beach and next to the prison, but as the island is so small it’s still only a 15 minute walk away from the restaurants and main beach, however something to consider.

"We enjoyed staying at this quirky guest house. We were warmly met by the friendly owner and had plenty of space to hang out for the day we were there, waiting to catch a shuttle to Belize City. I say quirky because in our mini apartment, there was a bed in the kitchen ( as well as our bed in the bedroom), and there is an old US school bus in the garden. But it felt quirky rather than derelict. It's a 5min taxi ride to the bus terminal in town or a 20-minute walk. We chose the Taxi option. It's also close to a good bakery, and you can see the supermarket from the hammocks in the garden. There is a fabulous restaurant called Hambre which is a 20 min walk."

There was nothing we didn't like, but this place will not appeal to everyone. It feels local, and maybe a little dated, but it was spacious, safe, and clean, and everything we needed.

"The location is amazing. Grocery store very close by. It's cozy. Large room and clean, comfortable beds. Rachelle was amazing. Went beyond by providing some did you know?... sound of falls in pool was soothing. Kitchen facilities clean and complete with all needs. Yes I would come back in a heart beat."

Pool abit dirty and not clean completely. I would add ice machine or an available freezer for our ice. Lack of close by restaurants is a bummer.

"We loved the courtyard where we had our breakfast which we put together from supplies from a nearby supermarket and the street fruit vendors. As shown on the wesite, the courtyard is a truly delightful spot, especially in a sunny morning, and important if you wish to eat or chat with your fellow travellers, as our rooms were too small for that. The staff were kind an helpful, and the daily room service and available linen service, ensured a clean room (and clean clothes). The location was close to where our conference was held and in a short walking distance the the lakeside, parliament house etc. Other city sights, the Plaza shopping mall, etc were usually an inexpensive taxi ride away."

The absence of wi-fi and difficulties getting an internet connection the courtyard and my room was a real inconvenience, only solved by purchasing a local sim and forgetting about my usual roaming arrangement for keeping in touch with family back home.

"Good location by the sea which is not far from the main street of Palau where you can find restaurants and groceries (less than 10 minutes walking). Huge room and comfy beds. The staff is really friendly and he dropped us off at the airport. No complaints"

You have to get used to the plane's noise. Nothing the property can do about.

"The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The bathroom was old but the hot water worked well. There was a fridge. Overall a decent stay."

The toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. It feels a bit out of town but only a short drive away.

It would be nice to have a window in the room.

"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !

"Keeps its promises. The owner, Mr Fadiga saved my life after the Radisson hotel had cancel my booking (and the booking of 30+ guests) without informing us of this in advance. Facing the emergency situation, Mr Fadiga kindly confirmed and ensure there would be a room available for me. He told me that Mr Manet would pick me up from the airport and all promises were kept. Mr Manet was professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. He took me everyday to the the conference I had come to attend (1 hour away) and back. He was always punctual and easy to reach. This was an excellent service. The room was very large and clean. The hot water tank, air con and TV worked perfectly."

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

"The host was excellent friendly and communicative. The accommodation was well laid out and easily accessible. Breakfast was good and on time!"

Access was an initial challenge as this was not automated so you cannot let yourself in and had to wait until someone respond to the telephone! A ringing doorbell at the gate or at the front door would be helpful!

"The staff were very friendly. Everything was clean and tidy. WiFi worked very well. The breakfast was provided in the hotel nearby and it was very good. The location was also perfect, given that everything in the town is easily accessible by foot."
