"Location was fantastic for an early morning flight, & the manager offers a free airport shuttle which is SO helpful. Actually, he couldn’t have been more helpful; there was only a 5 bed room left which I booked but when we arrived the manager helped us find an available smaller room which saved us money & also opened up a bigger room for another family - thank you!! Also v comfortable beds, nice amenities & quiet."

"It was a bit cold when I stayed and there were no blankets available in my room. I messaged the property in advance letting them know the flight I'll be arriving and they acknowledged it; however, there was no one waiting for me at the airport when I arrived. You'll need to call the property when you arrive at the airport and they'll be there in 5 to 10 minutes. It'd be great to make this instructions clearer beforehand."

"Ideal place for an inevitable stop in Guatemala City. Our plans did not foresee a stop in the capital, but as our flight, like a large number of international flights, arrived at a very late hour (and spending the night at the airport was not an option, as it closes for a few hours at dawn), we had to look for a hotel close to the airport, which would allow us to board a shuttle (in our case to Panajachel) the next day. Clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, 24-hour reception, free transport to and from the airport, located within a guarded condominium, and complete breakfast with flexible hours (our shuttle arrived at the hotel at 6:30, and the breakfast lunch could be served before), made Euro Hostal the ideal place for this stopover in Guatemala City. All this at a competitive price. Recommended."
