It's hard to escape noise in this part of the world. There was some very loud music playing at local bars at night. We had to kill a lot of mosquitos

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! We spent a beautiful day and night enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching a stunning sunset by the sea. The two kitchens, one large and one smaller, made meal preparations easy and seamless for our group. The host was incredibly responsive, ensuring our check-in was smooth and that we had everything we needed. The thoughtful amenities provided made our weekend stay feel effortless and relaxing. "Good location by the sea which is not far from the main street of Palau where you can find restaurants and groceries (less than 10 minutes walking). Huge room and comfy beds. The staff is really friendly and he dropped us off at the airport. No complaints"

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.

"Good place for a getaway with your wife and children; nevertheless, it's pretty far from the city, so you would need to have a car. There are several villas with lots of rooms."

It's noisy in the morning. It may not be comfortable for the guys who like to sleep for a long time in the high season. Also, our apartment has a separate balcony from the other room, so if your neighbors like to smoke in the morning, you will feel that as well. But if you are an early bird, this pearl is for you.

I liked the place. It was good for having a rest from busy places and enjoying the peace and beauty of a small village near the sea. It was hard to rely on public transport. If you have your car, then everything should be great

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.
