"Hostal is in a very quiet location. There is a lot of space around to park the car. Room had a perfect hard mattresses, was very clean and air condition worked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

The location was a but challenging, nothing to eat close by or to have a walk, but the owner was driving us everywhere, they were so nice

"It was really good value for money in the area, the breakfast was nice and filling, egg made fresh, avocado, toast, fruit, coffee and tea. The room was really nice we thought it might be cold but the blankets kept us perfect temperature. Only a 4 minute drive from the bus terminal. The man on reception kindly flagged a tuktuk down for us in the morning to the terminal."

On the second day there was a slight smell in the bathroom but nothing too serious , a little plumbing will sort that out !

"The decor and peace and quiet - despite being in middle of town. The individually decorated room was compact but had everything a weary traveler needs.. The food and drinks in the cafe were delicious and freshly made. The hotel owner was charming. I felt very comfortable there."

The only drawback is that one cannot park directly in front of the hotel which is also an advantage as one is not disturbed by traffic noise .

"A very warm and helpful host who gave us great support. My mother unfortunately injured herself while hiking and he didn't hesitate for long and applied hot compresses with salt. As she could no longer walk, he even gave her a walking frame and drove us personally to the train station on our departure. The location was great. A bit away from the busy main street and yet everything is within walking distance."

"It was great for a few days in Zurich, very quiet, clean, fit for purpose."

WiFi was tricky. Couldn’t connect.

"We loved the courtyard where we had our breakfast which we put together from supplies from a nearby supermarket and the street fruit vendors. As shown on the wesite, the courtyard is a truly delightful spot, especially in a sunny morning, and important if you wish to eat or chat with your fellow travellers, as our rooms were too small for that. The staff were kind an helpful, and the daily room service and available linen service, ensured a clean room (and clean clothes). The location was close to where our conference was held and in a short walking distance the the lakeside, parliament house etc. Other city sights, the Plaza shopping mall, etc were usually an inexpensive taxi ride away."

The absence of wi-fi and difficulties getting an internet connection the courtyard and my room was a real inconvenience, only solved by purchasing a local sim and forgetting about my usual roaming arrangement for keeping in touch with family back home.

"Just close your eyes and book a room or your slot here. The owner is a kind and humble person. He will treat you like a brother and friend. Amazing breakfast even though I had a flight in the morning and he gave me breakfast at 6 Am. He helped me to exchange money and bought a SIM for me. It's a little bit far from the centre but you can grab a taxi at low cost it's not the problem but you will be happy to stay here.. at the end he also helped me for the departure. I never feel that I'm out of my house"

"Super dejligt sted i dejlige omgivelser hvor der var fred og ro. Super service minded personale som havde tid til at tale med os og sørge for vi følte os godt tilpasse. Kan absolut anbefales og vi kommer gerne igen :-)"

"Det var fint og hyggeligt. Lidt som “hjemlig hygge”. Det ligger centralt, i en ok gå afstand til centrum og busserne der afhenter til udflugter. Morgenmaden var fantastisk. Lækkert udvalg."

Der er ikke noget, jeg ikke brød mig om. Dog blev vi taget imod af en lidt “cranky” vært kl 02.30 om natten da vi ankom pga flyforsinkelse som vi havde haft kommunikation omkring tidligere på dagen. Men dagen efter var der ingen dårlig stemning.

"Skønt sted - kan kun give dette sted de bedste anbefalinger.. Personalet var meget imødekommende, smilende og hjalp med alt vi havde brug for. Udsigten var i top og havet var fantastisk og fuld af liv. Hajer, rokker, skildpadder og fisk i alle farver. Fin have med blomster og træer gav en stemningsfuld atmosfære."

Der er katte, som løber ind i huset, hvis man ikke lukker dører og vinduer.

"Cette maison d'hôtes est charmante. J'ai été à l'aise....comme à la maison. Le jardin est paisible. J'ai apprécié le calme et le personnel qui était au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. J'ai apprécié aussi la proposition d'un chauffeur depuis l'aéroport compris dans le tarif. Il y a un super marché à 300m bien pratique."

"Amazing location right on the beach, quiet surroundings yet not too far away from shops, restaurants and the city center. The house was spacious and clean with A.C., a fan and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. Mr. Dagobert was very kind and welcoming, he also picked us up from the station. Thank you, it was a really nice stay!"

Keep in mind the accomodation is very basic and I think some renovations could be done, for instance our room didn’t have mosquito nets.

"Great location in the heart of the old town. The property also has a wonderful roof terrace which gives good views over the mosque and old town. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. Great sleep despite being in the centre of the old town (no traffic noise). Excellent value for money."

Possibly the size of the bathroom is a bit small, but that was my fault as I chose the single room.
