"As everywhere in the world, in the hotel business, it’s always the people who make the real difference - and here, the staff is truly exceptional. Everyone was polite, helpful, and ready to assist with any request. I had to wait a bit for my coffee in the morning, but that’s totally fine since many guests were ordering at the same time and there was only one barista. I still got exactly the coffee I asked for, along with a fresh orange juice. The receptionist was also very kind and helpful. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Overall, a lovely experience!"

"Mi familia estaba súper contenta , era un sitio que ya conocíamos hace años y sus instalaciones están bien . Creo que por lo q pagas vale la pena . Está limpio , pudimos hacer una BBQ para compartir . Isabella y Shaun en contacto siempre comunicación fluida . Dormimos de maravilla las camas cómodas . Al estar en la montaña es normal encontrar insectos , nada fuera de lo común ."

"Hele atmosfæren er så skøn hos Viggo på bondegården. Personalet er sød. Viggo kommer gerne og snakker og fortæller om alt muligt. Hytterne er søde, små og fine. Der er hvad der er nødvendigt og resten klares med charme. Der går dyr rundt frit på stedet, hvilket giver en skøn stemning."

Stedet er ikke nyt. Men det viste vi godt. Man skal ikke forvente at alt bare spiller. Men mere at stedet har en vis charme og at det gør at man tænker primitivt, ro og hygge. Men lad ikke det ødelægge chancen for at bo der. Det er et SKØNT sted.

It's a bit far from city center and from restaurants, so few options for vegetarians like me.

Rooms were basic and cleanliness wasn’t 100% but location and facilities more than made up for it

"In our journey around Issyk-Kul, here we had the best beds/mattresses and here we could sleep in a dark room when closing the curtains. We also enjoyed the proximity of the lake. We had dinner at Uigur restaurant at the main road (highly recommended). The owner was extremely helpful with everything we need."

The food quality should be improved a lot, both at breakfast and in the restaurant. The swimming pool board is made of wood, which gets very slippery: both me and my child fell and got hurt

"Simba camp is an amazing place to stay, especially if you want to experience the local culture and see wildlife. The chef cooked delicious food and even went out of his way to cater to my son's fussy eating. The highlights were definitely the morning and evening walks with Kwenia to see the wildlife and learn about the bush, the school and village visits, and beading with the local women. A very memorable experience."
