Linda was there to greet us, very friendly and helpful. Apartment clean and comfortable. Small shop onsite for bread etc, everyone friendly lots of wild life, birds, bearded dragons and donkeys!"

"The place is wonderful! Spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. The area is beautiful and quiet, with all shops very close by. The hosting family is so kind, and we truly felt at home. The neighbors in the neighborhood are also very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. The garden and outdoor space are just perfect. There is also a dining hall and a fully equipped kitchen that we used for a barbecue, plus bathrooms available on the ground floor near the kitchen and dining area. Everything was simply perfect and made our vacation safe and amazing. A big thank you for the warm hospitality!"

"Great location. Just few minutes away walking to the beach and good restaurants. The apartment is clean, tidy and more spacious than seen in the pictures. There was storm Benjamin when we were there! Hence we couldn't go far. But it was my husband's birthday, so we wouldn't just stay inside. So I booked the Noordzee restaurant just literally across the apartment. (6-7m away), and we had a fantastic dinner! Joost & Nicolette are good hosts and responsive"

The bed is a bit too soft to our liking. And thankfully we're at the 1st floor so we didn't need to climb the steep stairs too much.

Our room was located near the pool pump so was a bit noisy; we had to keep the balcony doors closed at all the time

Nothing at all it is a very minor thing if the bathroom shower had an issue but staff helped me with a bucket so it was taken care of very quickly.

La zona es muy tranquila, perfecta para descansar y desconectar. La habitación me sorprendió gratamente: además de ser muy bonita y luminosa, resultó muy cómoda y estaba equipada con una cocina que tenía todo lo necesario para preparar mis comidas. La piscina es amplia y agradable, ideal para relajarme después de pasar el día en la playa. Sin duda, lo que más destaco son las vistas increíbles que hicieron mi estancia aún más especial. "The apartment was stocked with many basic food items: Bread, butter, margarine, tea, instant coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, juice, milk, coke, and snacks, to the best of my memory. This was essential because we arrived at 3:00 AM and had to be ready for a tour at 6:00 AM. Also, some of that is expensive to buy when you must leave it behind if you are only there a few days. We liked that there was a security guard there and the building and area felt safe. Laundry facilities."

"We were arriving late (11pm) by the ferry, James the manager has proactively sent a taxi to pick us which was super helpful (don’t try to walk up that hill at night, especially not with luggage!). While the Inn is definitely a budget option, it was all good and the views from the common area terrace in the morning were nice."

We chose not to rent a car and found it difficult to get taxi drivers who wanted to bring us to the end of the street. We tipped well, people would give us their number and then not answer. Was not the condos fault but surprised at the taxi drivers

"We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

"It is a very special location. The large rock pool is absolutely unique. Great for swimming and looking at coral fish. We have never seen this at any other place we stayed."

"Et rigtig dejligt hus ,med stort køkken,med alle små fornødenheder ,salt,peber,sukker ,kaffe o.l., ligeså stor spise/dagligstue. Vær. 3 lille ,men ok.da der var så fine fællesarealer. Hyggeligt at mødes om aftenen og udveksle rejseoplevelser, ligeså meget hyggeligt at få “besøg” af Marna et par gange om dagen,hun er en herlig og imødekommende værtinde,og god til at give Færøske tips."

"Quiet neighbourhood but not secluded. Close to Blue Bay, very close to Kokomo Beach for great snorkelling early in the day, and the flamingo habitat was always fun to check out. Grocery store was a 5 minute drive away. Many restaurant choices a short drive away. 10-15 mins from downtown Willemstad, with plenty of parking near the Fort. Ed was a wonderful host! And the private pool at the end of a long hot day was a blessing."

Could not find coffee filters for the coffee machine in any store…:)

"Beliggenheden var skøn, i et stille område mellem oliventræ og andre farverige planter. Poolen samt poolområdet var super lækkert. Restaurant der lå i nærheden var skøn god mad og venlige personale. Absolut et besøg værd, og sæt gerne flere af til det."

Det lugtede ret meget af ged, men vores hytte lå og tæt på dyrene.

"Very nice apartment in a quiet place with a beautiful view of nature with good air, good instructions on how to get to the apartment, very convenient with an electric lock with a code. Nearby is the Moldovan embassy, two steps away (for those who care). I recommend!"

"It's located in a very nice place. 5-10 minutes from the beach, close to supermarket and restaurant. The hotel has very nice territory. The room is cosy and quite comfortable. It was very quiet, because we were at the end of the season and there were almost no people there. Very nice terrace. But you need to have something against mosquitoes (we bought in supermarket candles with citrone, which cost nothing and work very well)."

I was reading negative reviews about showers, but when I got there for the first time, I had almost claustrophobia, but to be honest, I also had worse. The water is hot and with strong flowing, so it's not so bad. I don't understand why we got so a lot of keys, special that half of them you don't use. Also, the kitchen has a very basic thing, but it was no sponge for washing dishes, only one knife, no grinder for cheese, and no vine glasses. Ventilation in the kitchen doesn't work. In the room was cold, while outside was warm, which would be nice in summer, but we were in October. So i was always cold inside in the evening and night. But you can't keep everything open, otherwise you will have a lot of mosquitoes. Also, the bed for me was not so comfortable. When my husband was moving, I almost had seasickness. The hotel has they own "parking", but to get there you need to go through some dump, you should to be very careful there, and sign for this place very small so easy to miss it, when just arrived.
