We can also recommend having dinner on the balcony. the food was delicious and it was so peaceful. Can 100% recommend! We also booked the safari to Uduwalawe directly with them, they organised everything and it was great!!"

"We enjoyed staying in the camp, which is surrounded by beautiful nature and directly connected to a private beach. It was great to see the camp in its first steps and we are really looking forward to come back. During our time we enjoyed delicious meals with the community and had beautiful conversations together, we also welcomed the opportunity to have a camp fire next to the beach. Beside the accommodation we booked a cacao workshop and cacao farm visit, which connected us with the land and surroundings even more."

The location is removed from the main part of town. A short taxi ride will get you into the city.

"The guesthouse is spacious and can accommodate a lot of people especially when we are the only one in the guesthouse. The hosts are welcoming and despite the language barrier, I could feel the warmth that they offer."

"Elmers sted er meget autentisk! Man befinder sig midt i regnskoven og mærker Costa Ricas unikke biodiversitet! Bl.a mulighed for at se tapir (som vi desværre missede), fer de lance slanger og andre krybdyr, invertebrater samt ufattelig mange fuglearter. Elmer og hans frivillige sørgede godt for os bl.a med hans unikke passion for at lave mad og viden om området, der ligger nær Cordovado nationalpark. Stedet kan i høj grad anbefales, hvis man vil mærke den vilde regnskov tæt på!"

"Khulan was super helpful, professional and spoke good English. Her advice and organisation was excellent. It was friendly, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Turtle rock was a good hike that took about 4.5hrs there and back, but hiking anywhere in the national park was spectacular. Luckily the weather was sunny and warm. Visiting the Chinggis Khaan Statue on the way from Ulaanbaatar prior to check-in worked well."

"We had a great stay at Moonys! Fernando is an amazing host who made everything possible. He even picked us up or organized transport when we needed it. We immediatly felt more like family than guests. The chalet is a beautiful place: clean and neat, and in the middle of nowhere. It is very quiet and a perfect place to relax."

There's nothing we didnt like. However you should consider transport: if you dont come with your own car, you depend on Fernando and you need to count in money, time and organization for commuting to wherever you wanna go. Taxis might not go all the way up to the chalet because its a dirt road. There's no supermarkets or restaurants close enough to walk to.
