"Det var en hyggelig hytte med alle de faciliteter vi havde brug for! Ungerne synes, det var sjovt med toget, der kørte forbi bag hytten. Gik man over sporet, var der en dejlig skov. Havet, is og vafler var i gå afstand. Der var lille køre afstand til Ystad, der var hyggelig med mange spisesteder"

"Camperen var en lille camper, men med næsten alt man får brug for på en køretur rundt om Island. Fin oplevelse! Dejligt med gas og gasblus i camperen."

Camperen kunne være udstyret med opladnings system til mobilerne. Samt en knage til håndklæder eller andet. Soveposer og puder burde være med i prisen.

"It was unique and the location perfect as we had stopped off in the city of Masaru on the way. We had excellent communication with the host who organised an upgrade as we were two women travelling together and asked for the possibility of twin beds. Mark organised a full day out on his horses with his guide Motobang which was excellent and included lunch. All food was prepared by him and was delicious and plenty."

My room had a little ant problem as well as if you actually want a reply from the place you need to call the number that's stuck to the window of the Information building. I messaged multiple times through Booking but never had a reply until I called.

"We enjoyed staying in the camp, which is surrounded by beautiful nature and directly connected to a private beach. It was great to see the camp in its first steps and we are really looking forward to come back. During our time we enjoyed delicious meals with the community and had beautiful conversations together, we also welcomed the opportunity to have a camp fire next to the beach. Beside the accommodation we booked a cacao workshop and cacao farm visit, which connected us with the land and surroundings even more."

"It is very good value for money. Accomodation is basic, but it is clean and comfortable enough. Our balcony was looking to the sea. The place was quiet after 21.00, we could rest very well. Breakfast very delicious and healthy."

There is a steep stairs on the 1st floor to enter your rooms.

"The caravan is in a great location for exploring the island, away from touristy areas, noise, and crowds. It’s not very big, but it has everything you need. Dominique was truly kind and helpful."

"Amazing position, right on the beach, immersed in nature. Managed by a gentle and polite family. Good wifi outside of the caravan. Recommended if you are looking for a caravan experience right on the beach and if you are willing to adapt."

The price we payed, due to the Booking.com platform fees, was overall too high with respect to the quality of the accommodation. There were many ants in our caravan (also in the bed). The floor was all covered with moquette (toilet included), which is not very hygienic, especially because the environment tends to get humid. Some windows were broken. Overall, I would suggest a better maintenance.

"Elmers sted er meget autentisk! Man befinder sig midt i regnskoven og mærker Costa Ricas unikke biodiversitet! Bl.a mulighed for at se tapir (som vi desværre missede), fer de lance slanger og andre krybdyr, invertebrater samt ufattelig mange fuglearter. Elmer og hans frivillige sørgede godt for os bl.a med hans unikke passion for at lave mad og viden om området, der ligger nær Cordovado nationalpark. Stedet kan i høj grad anbefales, hvis man vil mærke den vilde regnskov tæt på!"

For me, the location is perfect because it is a bit further away from town (which can be very noisy), making the atmosphere much calmer and more peaceful. In addition, the two buses that go to the main destinations on the island stop right in front: to Playa Bluff or towards Bahía Dragón and Playa Estrella. Taxis to town cost 1 dollar. There are affordable options for both rooms and tents. The tents are set up on wooden platforms in a very cozy space with hammocks and sofas. The place is well maintained, with a beautiful garden and a fully equipped kitchen. Howler monkeys pass by very often, and you can also see hummingbirds, which makes the atmosphere even more special. The owner, Johny, is very attentive and friendly, and the volunteers are also very kind and helpful. If I return to Bocas del Toro, I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it."

"I just loved the concept of tipi in the forest. Very clean camping area, big forest surrounding the campground, lots of birds and of course the lovely semois by my feet. It’s also a family camping so as a solo traveler you feel pretty safe."

The “insolite” part, you aren’t quite insolite, other tipis were in use by families with children running around and shouting. This was a bit tiring since I hoped to be in a calmer area. But you manage, I was out hiking the whole day and at night I set up my bbq while the kids slept. Only early mornings were hard - at the same time the birds were as loud as the kids 😂

"It was super close to the station. They have good WiFi and a well equipped kitchen. They did my laundry. The staff is very friendly and helpful."
