"Værten var utroligt sød og hjælpsom. Vi skulle til Lissabon med tog, og den dag strejkede jernbanerne. Vi blev hjulpet til en god parkering i Lissabon. Der er ingen aircondition - det betyder intet, da der selv ved over 30 grader udenfor er køligt inden døre."

"The quinta grounds are lovely. Great facilities for a family stay - vast grassland, a playground, nice pool, commun kitchen and bbq facilities. Very quiet and tranquil. Free parking adjacent to the rooms. The breakfast is simple but of a good quality. The room is huge."

"The room amenities are somewhat old. The bed mattress is basic and a bit hard. The water in the shower was just warm - not cold but not really hot."

"This place is very hidden, the only way to get there is by car. If you go by taxi, you really are stranded. The family renovated an old building, with a lot of history. Great work, very impressive, I loved the old furniture and decor. The house ids in a floodplain, the place has a musty smell, which contributes to the originality, but might annoy some people. The host, Maria is absolutely lovely, we had a great chat about the history of the place. The breakfast was modest, but it had everything you might want. Very clean."

"Maria was a lovely host. Daily breakfast had lots of selection. Our family loved the pool area. Shared kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed staying out of town, very nice property."

"Semi rural location, which suits us, with great train links into the city or Sintra etc We also used Uber to get back from Lisbon which was very reasonable. The owners were always happy to help. Room was comfy and clean and breakfast had enough lovely options! Had the pool to ourselves, which was a refreshing but real treat."
