Bordering the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, this holiday house, with an adult only policy, is nestled on a hilltop above Praia da Luz. Facilities include an outdoor lagune and a sun terrace. All rooms at Aurora Sol have private bathroom, TV , fridge and a private balcony. All rooms are decorated with wooden furniture and tiled floors. Aurora’s staff can help book activities around the area and arrange a rental car, which can be parked for free on site. Alternatively, guests can explore the region by bike. Close to the beaches in Luz and Burgau, Aurora Sol is a great base for exploring the western Algarve. The coastal tourist village of Praia da Luz is just 1 km from Aurora Sol, and the centre of the historic city of Lagos is 6 km away.

"Det ligger lidt i udkanten af byen i et villakvarter ud til en vej med en smule trafik støj, men ellers meget fredeligt og roligt. Kan anbefales at have bil for at kunne køre ind til byen og stranden."
"It was such a wonderful location! There’s parking available. The place was super clean, and the room smelled amazing. The host was incredibly kind and approachable—so sweet that he got up immediately to help us with our very heavy luggage! The women who cleaned the rooms were also very lovely. The garden was very pleasant, although the pool water was a bit cold—but we were there in October, so maybe that’s why. Apart from that, I had a really wonderful time here. Thank you!"

"Very kind and thoughtful staff. The room and bedding were very comfortable; there was a lovely private terrace where one could sit and which also had a small clothes drying rack (which was very convenient). Nice location, easy free parking, nice TV and streaming options for relaxing at night."

"A delightful place to stay, a real find, large and very comfortable room with a balcony. The pool and garden were exceptional, and very beautiful. But best of all were Rui and the people who work there - it was an absolute pleasure to stay with them. We ended up staying for much longer than the one night!."

"Kæmpe værelse og mulighed for at hænge lidt tøj op på tørrestativ. Der var åbent i restauranten til et mindre udvalg af retter både til morgen og aften. Kiosken har ikke åbent i maj, så man skal handle i byen. Meget imødekommende personale. Det ligger et stykke udenfor Zambujeira do Mar, så hvis man er på vandretur bliver etapen noget længere."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
