Would like to come again in early December but we think it is not open at that time."

"Everything was clean and also is constantly kept that way, big shoutouts to the staff.....but also the owner. They're all doing a great job, are very charming to keep this gem in the countryside tidy and nice. I don't know about the street facing rooms, but our one was very quite at night. We could hear owls and birds, very relaxing. Also the breakfast had varies of options, enough choice on every morning. Would recommend and go there again 👍"
"A few people have mentioned some stuff being dated. Although that kind of is correct, I rather call it having a soul and face. And nothing to worry about it. The most "delicate" areas like bathroom and beds were very clean. Maybe important note: you most likely need to have a car/(motor)bike. For everything you need to get out and we haven't seen any facilities in a relatively short walking distance. Second note: the place seems very dog friendly. During our one week stay, we noticed at least 5 guests with dogs. Something to perhaps keep in mind in case dogs aren't your thing for any reason."

"This is a lovely family run hotel, and has a very friendly atmosphere. We really loved our stay here and the everyone that we met was very helpful. The owner, Sylvia, even gave us a lift back into town the next morning so that we could carry on walking along the Rota Vicentina."
"When we booked the hotel we hadn't realised that it was so far out of town, and didn't have a restaurant. As we had walked from Salema on a very hot day we didn't want to walk back into town, but we were able to get a pizza delivery, and Silvia gave us a lift into town the next morning, so it wasn't a big issue."

"Kæmpe værelse og mulighed for at hænge lidt tøj op på tørrestativ. Der var åbent i restauranten til et mindre udvalg af retter både til morgen og aften. Kiosken har ikke åbent i maj, så man skal handle i byen. Meget imødekommende personale. Det ligger et stykke udenfor Zambujeira do Mar, så hvis man er på vandretur bliver etapen noget længere."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
