"Elmers sted er meget autentisk! Man befinder sig midt i regnskoven og mærker Costa Ricas unikke biodiversitet! Bl.a mulighed for at se tapir (som vi desværre missede), fer de lance slanger og andre krybdyr, invertebrater samt ufattelig mange fuglearter. Elmer og hans frivillige sørgede godt for os bl.a med hans unikke passion for at lave mad og viden om området, der ligger nær Cordovado nationalpark. Stedet kan i høj grad anbefales, hvis man vil mærke den vilde regnskov tæt på!"

"Lækker campingplads og dejligt land samt meget sødt personale, maden på pladsen var også rigtig god. Alt hvad man kunne tænke sig hvis man holder ferie med børn."

Den mobilehome vi havde var meget gammel med tynde vægge så alt kunne høres udefra samt indefra. Sengen var en smule hård.

"Charmerende med de mange store træer, der gav afskærmning på en naturlig måde. Beliggenheden helt ned til vandet. Stor terasse til “hytten” med sofagruppe samt bord og stole."

Der var meget lydt og fredag aften var der høj musik til efter 02.00.

"campingpladsen føltes hjemmelig og man følte sig velkommen. Der var mange små detaljer som gjorde det hyggeligt. Personalet var meget fleksible og imødekommende. Også var det søde katte man kunne kæle."

"It was great trip to the Sahara Desert Camp by camels, And is best of ale was the trip back by car and Accommodations was great,if someone would like to come to the desert, the camp is so nice."

"We enjoyed staying in the camp, which is surrounded by beautiful nature and directly connected to a private beach. It was great to see the camp in its first steps and we are really looking forward to come back. During our time we enjoyed delicious meals with the community and had beautiful conversations together, we also welcomed the opportunity to have a camp fire next to the beach. Beside the accommodation we booked a cacao workshop and cacao farm visit, which connected us with the land and surroundings even more."

"Beautiful location, quiet and surrounded by mountains. A few minutes driving from the city (supermarkets), etc. You can park your car right outside of the bungalow."

A little bit noisy from the neighbours

"We had the most amazing stay. Everything was magic. The sound of the river and rain hitting the wagon was magical while you slept. The ducks quacking and running around was so entertaining and the scones on arrival was such a personal touch. We will be returning very soon. The kids would love it 🥰"

"Small authentic hotel with a beautiful view of the tea plantations. We booked a bungalow with a balcony, bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast was good, but we waited for dinner for more than 1.5 hours."

It was cold in the room, shower doesn't work

"Kunne godt lide udsigten. Dog mangler der lys ved vognen. Lille vogn men hyggelig."

At der var mørkt om natten, hvis du skal til toilet. Gerne tekst både på tysk, dansk og engelsk. Ellers en fin campingplads. Stille og roligt.

"What a joyful, lovely place!! I am not going to lie: it's in the middle of nowhere, and getting there is a whole adventure (especially if you get the wrong road) but once you reach, it's a fabulous place to be. The owners are so incredibly kind and helpful! They made everything possible and impossible to help us with our stay. We spent 3 nights and it seems we were the first ones to occupy the tent (I must say, the bed was HEAVENLY) so as you can imagine, it was spotless and shiny new. The tent is quite spacious and very comfy. There are two kitchens nearby (beautifully equippped with everything needed and classified rubbish bins) with electricity and plugs (in fact, this is the place to charge your phone). The toilets are also close by (and very clean) and the showers are a joy (loved to be barefoot on the pebbles). They even have gel and shampoo (and it smells great!). Everything is done with love and joy, and it shows. We loved it!"

No complaints, but bear in mind there is no electricity in the tent itself, so in case you want to charge or need electricity you have some charging points or the kitchen. Also wifi is not strong outside the reception area.

Not enough air in the cabin room

"Super accueil de la part d Yves qui nous a explique l origine de ce beau jardín proche de la Forêt et nous a offert une noix de coco a boire. Le campement est calme , la tente est tres confortable et les parties communes toilettes et douche sont tres propres. Nous avons pu cuisiner dans un bel espace en écoutant le chant de la nature....nous recommandons cette belle experience humaine et nature."

"We made use of the campsite. The food was amazing and we were very happy to make use of the outdoor shower and having our hiking clothes washed. Back on the trail feeling refreshed! The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this place!"
