"Perfect location to explore the old town of San Marino. Walking around to the cable car. There was another family staying there so it was a bit awkward with them using the same front door and walking past our room. It meant our bathroom and living area were not as private as they could have been. But as we were mostly out exploring it didn't bother us much. Very friendly hosts who explained everything. We didn't find the aircon despite it listing it had it...."

And what was most important for us - also four legged family members accepted with a smile! We absolutely LOVED the individual garden entrance we had to our room, perfect for travelers like us - with kids & dogs. In other reviews people were complaining about the train. While train tracks indeed are behind the building, in the two days spent we did not hear any train… perhaps we slept so well or simply the line is not busy at all. I think we will come back 🙂"

"We were very happy with the location, it was calm and nice with swimming pool for kids and trampoline. Kids friendly. I would recommend further, maybe the beds could be more comfortable, but it was ok. Very nice owners, helpful and communicative."

"If I were the Michelin commissioner, I would award Happy Villa with three stars: Worth for an independent tour. This place has everything, plus your host will make you feel at home. Our stay was simply too short to enjoy all the options this accommodation offers. It is also positioned well for island exploration. Oh, and not mentioning superb breakfast starting with a healthy shot. You will be in good hands and with a full stack of options for every day of exploration of charming Dominica."

"Accommodations are simple but very comfortable. Nice swimming pool right out the hotel room door. Short walk to the water. We really enjoyed diving. My 18yr old son got PADI certified. They did an awesome job with him. Nassar was his instructor. He was awesome! Area was very safe."

No complaints. Please understand that tourism is severely impacted by the Gazan war. Many hotels and restaurants are closed and those that are open often are operating in a limited capacity. For example hotel restaurants might not operate at all. This affects all hotels. There were almost no tourists as of November 2025.

I got a room in rhe endcof the corridor very few guests so the hot water didn't come before I stopped showering. But no big deal.

"The traditional Cypriot style and the charming little decorations perfectly matched my taste. The small balcony outside the room was so cute and cozy. The homemade meal had a unique flavor I had never experienced before and made me feel healthy. The hosts were very kind and happily explained the village bus schedule and how to get to our destinations. They gave my sister and me an unforgettable memory. "This hasn't been my first stay at Chez Giuliana and it won't be the last – it's a family-run place that makes you feel at home, especially in a place like Ouagadougou, where finding a place that feels genuinely caring can make all the difference, There is nothing impersonal about this place. Staff is welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is served on the terrace – fresh fruit, coffee and cakes baked in-house. My rooms was comfortable and impeccably clean. Wi-fi connection is very reliable, which is great for me as I need it for work."

The room was on the ground floor opening right into the courtyard where they serve breakfast. So it was noisy (after 9 am I could not sleep), and it was not possible to open the windows to get a bit of natural light or air because of the privacy. The shower was with an open ceiling and didn't have any ventilation. Also, the wall between the bathroom and the room was not full height so after taking shower the steam was going into the whole room. We even asked for another room but there was no reception, only a person (as a security I guess) who said I don't know. He did not even know English and the communication was through Google Translate.

"The house is beautiful. It’s in front of the river with beautiful views, rooms are great , beds comfortable and walking distance to restaurants, etc otherwise you get Yandex which is ridiculously cheap. The lady who runs guest house it’s very nice and helps."

It was very noisy until quite late night from other guest, there are signs to be quiet after 10pm but they ignored it, I complained and I was moved to a quieter room. Apart from that all good.
