some rooms dont have window and that really does not work for me. They were very acvommodating and let us pick another room.

The smaller cabins are a little tightly packed together, but not an issue unless you're on honeymoon 🤗

"Accommodations are simple but very comfortable. Nice swimming pool right out the hotel room door. Short walk to the water. We really enjoyed diving. My 18yr old son got PADI certified. They did an awesome job with him. Nassar was his instructor. He was awesome! Area was very safe."

No complaints. Please understand that tourism is severely impacted by the Gazan war. Many hotels and restaurants are closed and those that are open often are operating in a limited capacity. For example hotel restaurants might not operate at all. This affects all hotels. There were almost no tourists as of November 2025.

"Everything was ok, the accommodation is very near to the airport, only about 15 minutes walk, so it´s great if you have long hours to wait for your next flight. Also, you can find many restaurants and cafeterias around and the neighborhood looked good and safe."

It´s possible to pay only in cash.

"Skøn have i indgangs parti. Skøn værtinde med tips til rejse. Badekar - intet problem at dele badeværelset. Hyggeligt selskab omkring det pænt dækkede morgenbord i behagelige hjemlige omgivelser. De 2 største byer er nemt tilgængelige med busstop i nærheden. Sti som genvej. Varieret morgenmad hvor jeg spiste glutenfrit uden problem. Dejligt sofahjørne med TV. Vandhane i værelset så jeg kunne børste tænder der. Udsigt til have."

Det var lidt svært at finde i mørket men fik god hjælp på telefonen.

"The place is nicely decorated, very tidy and in a quiet safe area but little far from the sea. For people which like waliking like me is ok. Also can rent bike for free. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok and you could also order some food for lunch at a good price. Manja is an excellent cook and prepares local specialties. Internet was mostly ok. The pool was clean and a very relaxing place to spend time."

Sometimes a problem with taxis. Some of them don't know this place. You have to negotiate the price which can be very diffrent. (from 100 to 500 dalasies).

They have a great system in place for the shared showers so don’t be worried about that. Hateruma is a gorgeous place to explore, highly recommend! Also booking system was super easy."

"Dejlig stort værelse og badeværelse. Sødt personale. Dejligt, at vi kunne parkere bilen inde i gården."

Der var problemer med kaffemaskinen ved morgenmaden hver dag, så vi kunne ikke få kaffe. Morgenmaden var også ret simpel.

"The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful, the garden is beautiful, the bungalows are nice. The location is good, neighborhood is silent, but it is a bit away from the busy areas and restaurants, so you need a car (but you need a car on Mahe anyway, so that is ok). There is a tiny, silent beach in 2 mins walk. If you prefer kind, local guesthouse owners and hospitality over luxury hotels, this is your place."

The beds are a bit firm.

"It was clean and cute. The room was warm. I liked that they put some sweets and tea for the welcome"

The room was on the ground floor opening right into the courtyard where they serve breakfast. So it was noisy (after 9 am I could not sleep), and it was not possible to open the windows to get a bit of natural light or air because of the privacy. The shower was with an open ceiling and didn't have any ventilation. Also, the wall between the bathroom and the room was not full height so after taking shower the steam was going into the whole room. We even asked for another room but there was no reception, only a person (as a security I guess) who said I don't know. He did not even know English and the communication was through Google Translate.

Bed a little harder than our preference but I think that’s normal! We supplied our own music, frequent power cuts but the generator kicked in quickly.
