"Location is amazing and all the staff were fantastic. Beautiful spot for relaxing and taking it all in"

"It is a fair way out of town so you do need taxis to get everywhere"

Tracy - 03/03/2026 07:25:33

"Great location and a very friendly atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant offered a good variety of food options."

"The rooms were comfortable however the rooms we stayed in did not have air conditioning which made it a little uncomfortable at night."

Tannah - 19/02/2026 23:07:35

"Location was excellent. Total beachfront. All meals at the restaurant were amazing. We hired kayaks and ATV from resort. Loved every minute. Will definitely go back to stay."

"Nothing"

"the location is a paradise, we spent 6 nights there and it was home for us, family!"

"maybe being able to get the kayaks by ourself but they were too heavy"

"Lovely location by great sheltered sea swimming area. Use of kayaks and paddle boards in lagoon area. Smallish so not a big resort which was good. Responsive managers and staff did their best to make us welcome."

"Bathrooms clean but a bit dated (shower wasn’t great but did the job!). Could have done with some supplies for the price (shampoo etc)."

Rebecca - 08/01/2026 06:58:10

"The location and setting are stunning, the photos actually don't do it justice. There are lots of communal seating areas/ swing/ hammocks overlooking the water (and the turtles!) which is very peaceful. there arent many rooms so it doesnt feel crowded ever. The marque tents are very well equipped and thoughtfully designed. There are paddleboards, kayaks, snorkels etc to borrow which is great and very easy. They occasionally put on bands and entertainment at the restaurant. When you have to leave early in the morning they arrange breakfast the night before so you don't miss out."

"Sometimes the wait time at the restaurant can be very long. We started eating earlier and that seemed to help. There arent any other eating options nearby (the the options on the island are pretty limited in general) so you just have to wait it out but at least its a beautiful setting to wait."

"Location mostly and outdoor facilities ( dinning area and lounges)"

"I think for how much is charged for night, when each room with very thin walls and hearing everything from the other rooms. So it can be less intimate overall. Also the fact that you need to pay extra for equipment hire ( snorkel, kayak , paddleboard etc) makes it a bit not worth when other accommodations around the area offer all this free of charge. Also not to be picky but for the price, no shampoo or conditioner were offered in the bathroom which you would expect to be included."

"Breakfast was wonderful. Meals were great, very western however, some more local style dishes or flavours would've been great. We were there for the Xmas buffet which did have some local dishes which was good. Very expensive however. Setting is amazing. Some of the best snorkelling I've done was off the ocean side of the property. Wavey though so an added challenge! We hired the kayaks to go to the blue hole. This is not a small thing. We are fit and strong and it challenged us, we were sore, blistered, bruised spines from the backrest, sunburned legs (despite slathering on the suncream). Took us about 3 hours return. The room was great, appreciated the kettle and tea and coffee. Enjoyed the pool as the temperature was nice, actually a bit refreshing, not too warm."

"I didn't like paying to hire the kayaks as we were going to the blue hole. They are free out in the bay but we paid 4500vt to take them to the blue hole. We were gone 3 hours. This could've been included. Our bill for transfer, lunch, dinner, xmas dinner, kayaks + blue hole fee for the three of us, not including the room was $820. I guess more than I was expecting"

"We appreciated the quiet, remote location of the accomodation, it was just what we needed. You can snorkel along a colourful reef, kayak along the bay (or to a blue hole) or book a dive to explore one of the newest dive sites in the world. The staff is also happy to help you book a driver or a tour, so it surely doesn’t get boring. The restaurant is great and I can highly recommend getting the whole fish! Everyone at the resort is super friendly and happy to help where they can. We had an awesome time there and will surely come back!"

"Aucun."

"Very nice host, trying to accommodate all my requests. Very authentic stay close to the volcano. The volcano and the red glow are visible from the hut."

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

"The location and the view at the Castle Tree House Bungalow was amazing. You wake up and see the vulcano and even hear the sounds. The family of owner Mike is really kind and hospitable. There is a lot to do from the accommodation and Mike is happy to help you with planning or transportation. The stay was amazing!"

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . Ps look after Max well we will return ."
