"Staff super friendly. Vibe truly relaxed. The communal areas for breakfast and afternoon drinks were really nice and a good place to converse with fellow travellers if you like. We were able to organise everything through the hotel on the day - in promptu snorkelling, car hire for the next day delivered to the hotel - made the less fun bits of the trip super easy."

"I'd have to be really picky to bring up something I didn't like. Some of the meals were a bit hit and miss but mostly the food was absolutely fine. Breakie was great and the steak was good. I would have maybe liked a few more local cuisine options but understand that may not be everybody's liking."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Barrier Beach Resort! Breakfast was a highlight every morning — the fresh fruit platter and eggs cooked just how you like them were spot on. The staff are what really make this place special. Florida, Marcel, Rose, and Sophia (and honestly everyone we met) were so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and the whole resort had such a relaxed, peaceful vibe. The restaurant was fantastic too — we didn’t have a single bad meal in the six days we were there. Highly recommend this resort for anyone wanting a beautiful, stress-free getaway in Vanuatu. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Wow, where to begin. Everything was great, the hotel is right next to the most beautiful beach, the restaurant is fantastic, and the staff couldn't do more to help you have a wondering stay. Special shout out to Emmie for helping us book our tours last minute. I can't wait to come back!"

"The location,right on the beach was perfect. Views spectacular. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals and drinks were lovely. Massage at the spa was very good and prices very reasonable. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Snorkling and swimming was great. Our room had air-conditioning, some don't. Had a great stay, can't fault any of it."

"The resort is in a great location and a short drive from the 3 Blue Holes. Our villa was just steps from the sea. It was wonderful lying on a day bed watching the waves from our deck. The restaurant offered a good selection of meals and drinks. The staff were quite helpful. The massage I had at the Day Spa was absolutely fabulous. We were very appreciative of a late check out, as our flight was late in the day."

"The included breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The lunch and dinner menu again was fresh and wonderful. The equipment - snorkeling equipment, SUP Kayaks, Bikes etc were all included and there seemed to be plenty for everyone. Our room with plunge pool was spacious and very comfortable with an amazing view (also) of the dugongs The staff and management were so friendly and accommodating. We will come again!"

"Everything... We went to the Barrier for our Wedding Anniversary and they definitely exceeded our expectations. We stayed for 6 nights and staff were floorless. The staff; Sophia (Anna), Rose, Tony, Rob and Catherine were stand-outs. The food was 5 staff, so fresh and delicious with daily specials for every appetite. Staff assisted with arranging daytrips, and so friendly just hanging around the resort. Snorkling equipment and kayaks available... the location a stone through (or bike ride, or kayak) away from divine blue water holes. Our anniversary evening was made so beautiful with handpicked tropical flowers setup for our table (then moved to our room), and a complimentary cocktail from the Manager. Just a perfect stay."
