"I like this hotel very much. I think in this price range, it is the best hotel in all Low Tatras south side. Excellent swimming pool and spa/sauna area, nice breakfast with large choice, and also GLUTEN FREE bread and cake were available (!), which is quite rare in hotels these days... My 1person room was also very cosy, comfy bed, clean, and nice big blackout curtain. It had a balcony, and overlooked the parking, wellness and the stream, which was very relaxing."

"There are 2 points that the hotel could improve on: the room doors are closing very loudly - a smoother, quieter closing system should be installed on doors, as it is really very loud (you wake up to it in the morning or at night). The second is: the lady at the swimming pool (dressed like a Baywatch person in sort red dress) was very annoying as she came in cleaning the floor in the spa/sauna area with a loud machine at 20:45 for 10minutes., when it is still open for 45minutes, until 21:30. She really did annoy and disturb the guests. She then continued on to mop the floors. She then changed at 21:00 and came in the saunas herself. This is very inappropriate. i have previously stayed in this hotel and also used the saunas as a external guest but have not experiences anything like this."

"The breakfast buffet and dinner changed from day to day and were excellent with a variety of choices. On our last night there was not the minimal number of guests needed to offer a full buffet so breakfast was downsized but we could order off the menu and the portions were immense. The pool area was wonderful (loved the lazy river) as was the sauna area which was accessible for a separate fee. Soft music and candles in both the pool and sauna areas made for a lovely relaxing atmosphere. North Americans may benefit from being advised in advance that bathing suits are not allowed in the sauna, steam room, or whirlpool tub in the sauna area. There is a lovely walking path along a bubbling brook steps from the hotel. The room was not large but had everything we needed including a mini fridge, and as always I love the fact that hotel windows open in Europe so one can sleep with fresh mountain air."

"I have gluten allergy and there was gluten-free bread for breakfast and I could eat gluten-free meal. We arrived to the hotel and the next day we wanted to go hiking, but my car's battery dead. The hotel staff helped for us. He took me with the hotel's car to the nearby town (Brezno), where I could buy a new battery. He took me back to the hotel and helped to replace the battery and the car was repaired. I am very grateful to the hotel staff. They saved our vacation."
