"Our stay was in December and it was cold. The room had heating but it was not sufficient for the size of room. UK television would have been a bonus but we could get that in the downstairs lounge."

"The location is beautiful and Dona Laura was amazing and looked after us so well. She was able to tell us the history of the house and village and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts she made as well. We would love to return again in the future and bring some of our family also."

"Kæmpe værelse og mulighed for at hænge lidt tøj op på tørrestativ. Der var åbent i restauranten til et mindre udvalg af retter både til morgen og aften. Kiosken har ikke åbent i maj, så man skal handle i byen. Meget imødekommende personale. Det ligger et stykke udenfor Zambujeira do Mar, så hvis man er på vandretur bliver etapen noget længere."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
