Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. This family-run lodge is known as the first and only property in the area featuring five fully natural hot spring vandområdes, which emerge directly from the mountain and reach temperatures of up to 40 °C. The svømmeområdes are set along the riverside and are strictly for the exclusive use of registered guests. The lodge is well-regarded for offering an authentic and natural experience in a truly unique setting. Rooms are built on Andean terraces, surrounded by gardens and camping areas. The wooden cabins blend harmoniously with the environment and offer both private and shared bathroom options, hot water, and an on-site brasserie with a bar. Llahuar Lodge also provides tourist information and luggage storage services. Free private parking is available at a nearby location. Thanks to its privileged location in the heart of nature, the property is ideal for hiking and exploration. The terrain is expansive and includes several elevation changes, offering a deep connection with the Andean landscape.

"Very pleasantly surprised after reading some bad reviews. The twin room with private bathroom was big and clean, with toilet paper and soap, and the shower was hot (did shower whilst sun was still up) the thermal pools were really pleasant and also clean. The view is beautiful from the property. The walk up to eat dinner and breakfast is literally fine - you walked all the way down the canyon so what’s the problem with a small walk uphill to the restaurant Cute dogs!"

"Keep in mind there are quite some steps from the restaurant/reception to the lodges to the hotsprings. Especially in the dark can be tricky. We thought the dinner at 19:30 was a bit late."
