"Very well situated , our room was spacious , nice balcony and a view of the river. Resteraunt on site was very nice and staff friendly and helpful."

Toilet was not flushing properly , but not much of a problem.

"The people were so friendly and helpful. They gave us a free lift into town and back and answered all of our questions. The setting is beautiful next to the water with a lovely log cabin. I'd definitely stay again, especially in summer as it's a great alternative to Ciudad del Este."

It can be a bit cold if the weather isn't good.

"Fantastisk beliggende. Fantastisk vært. Velindrettet med alle fornødenheder. Virkelig smukt sted. Roligt. Masser af plads udenfor og indenfor. Helt fantastisk lækker morgenmad Bedre sted findes ikke. Vi var blevet en nat mere, hvis det havde været ledigt."

Alt var perfekt.

A little hard to find.

"Чудове місце для відпочинку сімʼєю. Дуже задоволені. Було дуже затишно і комфортно. Велика територія біля котеджа – є все необхідне для барбекю, альтанки і качелі для дітей. Відпочивали взимку, але в приміщенні було дуже тепло. Є санвузли у кожній спальні, що дуже зручно. Окреме спасибі пані Олі, адміністратору котеджа. Турбувалася про нас, щоб ми почувалися максимально комфортно. Плануємо повернутися сюди влітку 🙂"

Трошки замалий холодильник. Було б добре, щоб він був трохи більшим і мав трохи більшу морозильну камеру. Також не зайвими були б ще кілька кастрюль та великі миски.

Sengen var ikke super, men ellers alt andet var super skønt!

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"The position. I was very skeptical due to bad reviews on booking.com but I found a well maintained and peaceful place. I was staying in a superior room, so can’t comment on the standard ones."

Restaurant choice was very limited but food was good

"Beautiful cottage that I mostly had to myself. There was access to the kitchen, television, and the yard. The host was a lovely man and very kind and helpful. He was also so relaxed about everything. I had the option to use a pool at another hotel as well which was great. I also appreciated the well wishes messages from the host and his staff member when I departed."

"In general, we liked the experience. Especially because the sea and the beach are so close. The staff is nice and collaborative. The place is simple but fine for that price."

It's a very good location. However, due to the fracture of the former vacation place now obviously shared by different owners, the surrounding area has a bit sad appearance. The canteen on the territory does not provide quality food but there are many restaurants to choose nearby.

Zimmer und Spielplatz sehr veraltet Dusche Renovierungsbedürftig leider keine Kochmöglichkeit die Sitzgelegenheiten vor dem Zimmer den ganzen Tag im Schatten es gibt Ruhe Zeiten

"The location is superb. The beach villas were outstanding"

The other villa R3 was not bad just that it could use some improvements in the spare bedrooms

"Location is wonderful, feeling very close to pure nature. We love the swimming, sauna, hanging matt, beach and the hike around."

The cottage is really small and stuffy esp when it’s hot. window without mosquito net, thus we cannot leave it open in the nite, too much mosquitos and horse fly.

"The team was very helpfull and wie had evry nice diners. It's a very cozy and familiar place."

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

We liked it all.

"Lovingly furnished, clean accommodation in a family atmosphere with hospitable landlords, good sanitary standards and air conditioning, cozy terrace, very good and plentiful breakfast with fruit and local side dishes, option for dinner with excellent Sri Lankan cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed. Pool was freezing in August. Covering at night would probably be enough. Food mediocre and breakfast choices disappointing. Price difference on rooms isn’t justified. They are all identical just the views are different.
