"The room was very clean and comfortable. The private balcony was perfect for relaxation, star gazing and watching the sun rise. The staff members were all awesome, especially the camp manager! I was also surprised by how good the food was, both dinner and breakfast, given that we're on a desert. Finally, the activities they provided were all very fun - I did dune bashing with sunset and camel ride. Overall, my experience here was amazing."

"The location was in a great position, not too close to other camps and not far from the desert entrance (great to reach by rented car). We loved our tent and the atmosphere inside the camp, we enjoyed so much the dinner and the 4x4 desert ride to watch the sunrise in the desert. We loved chatting with Gautam, he ensured our stay was the best possible, we totally recommend this structure among the others!"

"One of the best camp because at the top of the hills and not into the valleys! You can see sunrise and sunset from your room! So kind people everywhere!! I stayed 2 nights and it was amazing and relaxing!"

"The location is really amazing ! Small camp, on top of the Dune, perfect for sunrise and sunset. Very easy to reach with your own car ( 4x4 ). The pool was much bigger than expected and the water super warm. The pool is ideal to use after sunset. The camp is super quiet as we were very few customer that night. The room was amazing with the view as well and super confortable. I regret not staying more than 1 night. The manager and staff were super friendly. I highly recommend this camp !"

"Great location on too of a dune with amazing views at sunset and sunrise. The pool was perfect for a cool down during the day. The rooms were spacious and big, very comfortable too. Nice touch of including fruit and some snacks as a welcome in the room."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stars Gate Camp! The villa overlooking the dunes was pure magic — waking up to those sweeping desert views was an experience we’ll never forget. The dinner was excellent, and our dune drive adventure with the driver was equally memorable and highly recommended. The host and all the staff were extremely warm and attentive, making us feel truly welcome the entire time. What sets this camp apart is its elevated position above the surrounding camps — it gives a unique perspective and sense of being above it all. Also the shared pool is a wonderful bonus, refreshing after a warm desert day. If you love authentic desert ambience and want a special, once-in-a-lifetime experience, this is the place. We would recommend this stay to anyone travelling to Oman without hesitation!"
