All the staff were amazing too especially David by the pool, Norbert and his colleagues in the 238 bar and Zen in the Raywha restaurants"

From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, we were given the royal treatment. Hassan Gunay, the manager, was especially helpful. All in all, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, even after years of regular travel."

"Staff very nice, upgraded me to a junior suite from a club room. The room was absolutely amazing, spacious, very clean and beautiful. The club lounge was really nice as you could enjoy cocktails and nibbles after your day, so would recommend paying for that service if you can afford to. The location of the hotel is ideal as you’re close to most touristic areas (except perhaps the Grand Mosque). The Spa (steam room and massage) were very nice, though I didn’t see if they had a sauna."

"The pool area can at times feel more like a kindergarten than a place for relaxation, as the playground is located in the same area. Guests also tend to claim the limited sunbeds early in the morning, particularly those on the side that gets the sun (I *think* half of the sun beds never actually get sun there in winter). While the hotel does offer sunbeds on the public beach as an alternative, service there is minimal. During my four-day stay, despite spending time there specifically to relax, no staff member approached to offer assistance, take an order, or even help set up towels on the sunbeds. As a result, the experience feels somewhat unmanaged and “first come, first served,” which is disappointing for a hotel of that standing and price range."

"Everything was just perfect for a relaxing, healthy, indulgent escape … very competent and attentive staff, very good fresh food, comfortable and subtly tasteful and elegant interiors and exteriors. Wonderful quiet neighbourhood… lovely beach - Not isolated from the rest of Muscat."

"We like everything but if you’re after a more total R&R then you will want a more resort kind of place."
