"We spent a few days in spacious bungalows. We were picked up by taxi from the airport and quickly arrived at our accommodation, where Cynthia was waiting for us. Cynthia provided us with detailed information about the property (water, safety, etc.) and shared interesting facts about the area (shops, restaurants, and the beach). The bungalows have a well-equipped kitchenette and a large terrace, from which we could admire the starry sky in the evenings. In the morning, we were served a delicious breakfast, including homemade yogurt and jam. The morning conversations with Cynthia during breakfast were wonderful. The guesthouse also offered free rental of easy-to-use bicycles. We have fond memories of our lazy days on the atoll, and we highly recommend this guesthouse."

The guesthouse is no longer the newest, but that's why it has its own atmosphere.

"This is a fantastic location if you want to get away from the bustle of the city and only half an hour from the airport and Agadir. Beautifully restored Kasbah with productive gardens and a salt water pool (perfect if like me you can't cope with chlorine) We were lucky enough to visit after rain and the wildflowers blooming in the surrounding fields were beautiful. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly."

"The tents with en-suite were great, really generous size and fantastic Mountain View’s"

It is 30 minutes on a very bumpy road from the gate to the national park and we were the only people to pass through each day. This end of the park is forest and scrub so very difficult to see game. There are not many roads in the park and almost no signage.

"Det lå "ude på landet" og i dejlige rolige omgivelser. Der var kun 3 huse-så der var ikke meget larm og støj. Lækker bungalows - flot indrettet. Morgenmaden skulle bestilles dagen før og blev leveret på terrassen."

Det lå ude på landet -så man bliver nød til at leje en scooter eller bestille en taxi for at komme til byen.

"Haiko is a wonderful person who welcomed us upon arrival at the lodge and provided us with excellent directions to the island's beaches and restaurants/bars. The property is strategically located for reaching both the stunning northern beaches and Arikok National Park. We appreciated the lush vegetation surrounding the lodges and the chirping birds that accompanied us during breakfast. Each lodge respects privacy and is equipped with all the amenities, making it a delightful stay."

1. There was no Iron in the room (it is written in the room facilities) 2. Noisy neighbours (they celebrated birthday and used equipment for loud music and jumped in the pool)

"Exceptional environment, well-kept, among the trees, calm, peaceful. The cottages are built in such a way that they have a pleasant temperature without air conditioning or fans. At night, for the first time in Gambia, I had to cover myself with a duvet. The owner and staff were extremely kind, accommodating, unobtrusive."

The showerhead is located halfway through the shower cubicle which meant that a lot of water came inside the bathroom while taken a shower. The ventilator didn't operate in the bathroom which meant that a small window was left open in the bathroom for ventilation. The drawback was ingress of mosquitoes into the room/bathroom. The lighting in the room could be enhanced, often we felt that the room was too dark.

"Amazing pool! Great staff always around to help if you need anything. You feel like you’re in the bush with a lovely view of Lion Rock from our treehouse balcony. Within walking distance to both rocks and some local restaurants just down the road. Breakfasts were good."

Possibly a bit overpriced for the very basic accomodation.

"Personalet var rigtig rart og morgenmaden var god. Hotellet ligger 100 meter fra søen i Luzern og man kan nemt komme med tog eller færge ind til byen, hvilket tager 15-20 minutter i tog. Der var behageligt og super hyggeligt."

Der var desværre meder lydt, og vi kunne høre når overboen gik rundt eller nogle omkring os så fjernsyn eller talte højt.

"Great location. Super friendly staff who provided a warm welcome and farewell. Since there were only a few guests, they upgraded our rooms to exceptional ones. Excellent activities and dinner. Cozy fireplace at night. A fantastic experience. Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended."

We loved everything, it is rustic in a lovely way, fits with the environment you are in. Great value for the location.

"Overall it's a good experience, room/wash room was clean. At the time of booking they confirm complimentary breakfast but it wasn't available. Location is great"

"This is a beautiful and well run place to stay. I was made welcome as soon as I arrived. Room was very nice and such good value for money. Peaceful place even with it being next to the lake where there was much singing and dancing and fireworks for the water festival (Bon Om Touk). Green and lush surroundings. I ordered my chicken fried rice when I arrived for 4 hours later. 4 hours later I was eating chicken fried rice."
