"It was very moist inside, could’t even put down our clothes on the ground without it getting wet, and the weirdest part-the building is currently under construction so it was impossible to rest durring daytime because of the noise, workers and their stuff everywhere."

"I'm so glad that we chose this place, and would gladly choose it again for our next visit to Haputale. The views were stunning from our room. The owner was so warm and friendly, going the extra mile for us to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The food was incredible - tasty and so much variety. Great location too - 10 minute tuktuk into town and a short walk from a lovely cafe for brunch and a coffee Can't recommend this place enough!"

The deluxe rooms are in the owners words are only“ budget rooms“ The bathroom was not clean, a bit of scrubbing and maintenance would have made a huge difference. The room felt not very comfortable and quite cold at night, the doors let in a lot of the wind. I’ve definitely had cleaner and nicer rooms for the same price in Sri Lanka"

"We loved staying with Jagath for three days. He and his family were so warm, welcoming, and helpful. He had good knowledge of the local area and gave us good recommendations, and organised our transfer to Tangalle. The food was incredible. Jagath’s wife cooked 5 or 6 different curries every night, which were all delicious. Rooms are simple and clean with wonderful views of the landscape. The train track runs just below the property so you can see the train a couple of times a day (no noise disturbance though). Thank you Jagath for taking such good care of us!"

"The room had an excellent view over the valley - albeit obscured by the mist much of the time. The food menu was overall good value for money."

"While the room provided a spectacular view, the price for this was a rather exposed position with quite a lot of wind noise. For similar reasons there was some minor water leakage from rain driven through the windows by the wind. This did'nt bother me, but it might some guests."
