"A small hotel nestled on the hillside outside Akureyri affording good views of the Eyjafjorder, town, valley and hills opposite. Rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The host is quiet and efficient and serves that standard breakfast one encounters across the country. All in all a good option if you have a car."

"The Airport is also on full display, but it is quiet and small and is a positive point of interest rather than a nuisance. It's easy for other guests to come out of their rooms onto the shared terrace and see into your room."

"This was the best hotel of our 12-days trip in Iceland. The rooms are very spacious and have an astonishing view on the fjord where the city of Akureyri rests. The owner is a very kind man who bakes fresh croissants every morning. Just an amazing experience"

"We travelled the ring road around Iceland during May 2024 and this was our favourite hotel. We stayed 3 nights which is perfect for exploring the area. Close to Forest Lagoon, great for day trips to Húsavik, Dettifoss, Myvatn, etc. Lovely large, clean room with amazing views."
