"We loved the Cedar Inn for many different reasons. It is situated in a beautiful old building in a wonderful peaceful situation above the hustle and bustle of Darjeeling. Despite this it is still just a convenient 25 minute walk from the main area. The hotel manages to maintain its old world charm while providing all the comforts and conveniences that a modern visitor could want. The restaurant is excellent and offers a delicious selection of Indian and Bengali cuisine. But above all it is the helpful and welcoming staff from senior management all the way down that make the Cedar Inn such a delightful place to stay."

GM Mr Sanjay and Ms Neera along with their team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable with them,right from celebrating our marriage as well as medical emergency which erupted. We cannot thank them enough for making our stay remarkable and we look forward to staying with them again in future."

Staff are professional, knowledgeable, genuinely caring, and friendly and will customise their service to meet7th your needs. The rooms are spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, and hot water is plentiful. Food is available via room service or in the dining room and is tasty and varied . Highly recommended."
