"Excellent location, there is a paid car parking available just at the location. The staff is very warm. Ram is doing excellent community work along with running the place and it was a pleasure to meet him as well.."

"The staff at this hostel is very nice and professional. The location is very good, walking distance from the beach, 🏖️ walking distance from many local restaurants 🥘 and coffee ☕️ shops. It is also walking distance from the bus stop. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there and I would come back there again. There is true spirit of unity and no division between religion nor race ❤️ outside the hostel it looks like a jungle ❤️ 🌴"

"First thing, the rooms are extremely humid, 💧 it also seems like they are not properly clean. 🧽 In many places, there is no mosquito 🦟 protection, so at night you can be beaten. Secondly, there is very weird lock system. You can close the room from inside without a key. It happened to me that a boy from my room closed my room from inside and it took over 40 minutes to wake them up and enter the room. There is no way of opening the room from outside. Even if they knew that I was leaving they still closed the door. 🚪 Thirdly the hostel itself also closes at night. Nobody informed me about this, and I had to jump over the fence the first night when I came back late. There is only one plug in in the room, which have to be shared. Also, there is no place to store your things and no lockers."

"The location near to the Papanasam beach, Janardan Swamy temple, and bus stop. Apart the property is surrounded by lush green trees and scenic views. The moment you reach the property from beach activity you get the cool effect of the green patches."

"The energy at Rams gratitude is something different. You are literally 5 meters away from the road but it’s the most peaceful and quite of the places. The room was clean, big, and had all that is necessary. I had a private room with bathroom and I was supposed to stay 4 nights, I stayed 13!! The owner is super kind, polite and accommodating and will give you tips on everything you need. There is a balcony where I practiced yoga everyday, good vibes and good people. Highly recommended. It is also litterally 4 min walk from the beach, you can’t have more than this!"

"Nothing. The host is rude, racist, hostile. The hostel is filthy, walls of the bedroom covered with mole."

"The host is a very rude man with no manners and compassion. He insulted me for no reason! At the checkin, I offered to enter my passport info myself or hold my passport for him to write down the info. He also took pictures of the ID page and my visa anyway. So I complied with all the check in procedure, there was no reason for him to touch my passport all over. He was wiping his running nose with his hands and coughing, so I didn’t want him to hold my passport. I was already sick a few weeks ago in India (due to famous poor hygine conditions in India) so I was trying to be careful not to get sick again the day before my return flight. He started to argue forcefully insisting to take my passport. He even grabbed it out of my hand by force!! Seeing my US passport, he said ‘oh that’s why..’ That’s why, what? What a racist, discriminatory and hostile comment! Why I don’t let him touch my personal properties without my permission? That’s why I know my rights? That’s why I don’t let a macho man speak over to me and allow him to do and speak as he wishes to the women or guests in his country or hotel? That’s why I know my rights? Then I told him I am Turkish American. This time he said ‘maybe you are a terorist’!! Why? Because I am originally from a muslim country? Again, another discriminatory comment. What an unacceptable way to talk to guests!! RACIST, HOSTILE!! I paid him per my reservation, did not even sleep there, just left my luggage in the room for a few hours. In addition, the bedroom was dirty, walls covered with moles. See pictures below. He should first provide a clean, healthy environment, learn to use napkin for his running nose before insisting to touch guests’ personal properties. OVERALL HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Avoid at all cost!!"
