Hoteller i Malawi

"Det er et helt specielt hotel, hvor du bor i en meget lille by, hvor man kan få en snak med naboen, og i det hele taget føle sig som en del af byen. Hotellet ligger på en bakke, hvor man får solen ind, og poolen ligger - ligesom værelserne med rigtig god udsigt. Værten var på alle måder hjælpsom - også med startkabler, når den lejede bil ikke ville starte. Både morgen og aftensmad var fint og rigeligt. Hvis man ønsker et intetsigende storhotel ned buffet i lange baner, skal man booke et andet sted. Dette hotel er unikt og landligt på sin helt egen måde."

Man bliver nødt til at have bil for at kunne komme rundt at se det flotte område, man bor i.

"The resort is just next to a clean beach for breathing fresh air all of the times, has a clean swimming pool, pool side sitting area, bar selling drink options and snacks, kitchen offering different food options. There are only a few rooms here (5-6) so you can check availability for booking. There are many coconut trees at the facility and you can enjoy a great sunshine exposure at this place."

There was nothing that you don't like here as you are close to the pool and beach front. However, the place is situated at ELWA, a few km far from city, so you would need to get a taxi if you have business in Monrovia town (Sinkor or Clara town etc.)

"We loved the quiet scenic location and the beautiful, elegant new resort with top tier facilities. Felt pampered by the staff and enjoyed the best massage. The resort provide free shuttle into Koror morning and afternoon, which is ideal for divers heading to the rock island dive sites. Loved the huge wall of windows showing us the turquoise kingfishers and long tailed white tropic birds."

Resort is tailored to Asian touists with a lack of English instructions on remotes, etc, but staff were super helpful.

"The manager and the staff are very friendly, they help in every aspect. The accommodation is clean and they offer an excellent breakfast. All in all, I don't have anything to reclaim."

"The people from the front desk are amazing, really helpful. They gave us towels for the beach, and beach chairs. They made our stay way better, including after checkout. The hotel has an almost private beach where they also gave us a beach umbrella, it was a paradise, all for us (we even saw manta rays). The location is perfect. Not far from the ferry, not far to nice beaches, not far from places to eat. The hotel is clean, nice rooms, nice bathrooms, they gave us complimentary waters and coffee in the room. Also, the hotel has a bar and a restaurant. At night it solved us having there something to eat having been all day out."

Everything in Turks and Caicos is expensive, and in North/Middle Caicos even more (that’s not the hotel). The restaurant of the hotel was good but expensive. It is a good alternative, even more if you don’t want to grab the car again, but I would check the prices before seating to see if they are ok for you.

Our air con unit was very noisy.

Hotellet er rent og pænt, gode store værelser, stille og roligt. P muligheder en lille tur væk fra hotellet. Ligger centralt i forhold til restauranter og butikker. God morgenmad, spændende rum at være i, indrettet med en gammel stil."

Dynerne var for tynde, her om vinteren. Kaffen om morgenen kunne ikke holde sig varm i termokanden.

La chambre était trop petite pour un couple.

"El desayuno muy rico, y variado. Le falto unos huevos revueltos para darnos mas proteina en el desayuno para levantar, pero todo estaba muy rico."

que pase calor en la habitación, no habian prendido el aire porque decia que iba a bajar la temperatura, pero la habitacion tenia una ventana hacia un pulmon donde no ingresaba aire, por lo tanto, no pudimos descansar muy bien por el calor.

At the fan just kept going in and out it's like we was losing a little power

"The location is what I loved the most. The restaurant woodlands was also nice. The fruit and cookies were much appreciated."

The size of the room was a little cramped.

Given that there are no other places close to the hotel where you can buy food , the hotel restaurant should have more choices of food.

O café é bom,mas pode melhorar.

"Beliggenhed, venligt personale, solid morgenmad, lækre hjemmelavede lokale retter, adgang til utallige skovstier, tæt på tv-tårnet, hvorfra man har en vidunderlig udsigt fra 28. etage (1182 m), og kabelbanen, hvormed man på 23 minutter tager ned til Zagrebs forstæder, og med bus når man Zagrebs centrum på 12 minutter."

Værelserne har ikke aircondition, men ligger i skovmiljøet, så det er næsten ikke nødvendigt. I nærheden er der en offentlig parkeringsplads, som Zagrebs Fast and Furious-fans bruger til at finpudse deres færdigheder og lave kortvarig tordnende larm.

The city itself was pretty boring, nothing to do and nothing really close by. Ofcourse this has nothing to do with the hotel

"Très bon rapport qualité prix. Chambre propre, Calme et confortable . Le gérant est très serviable, abordable et de bons conseils pour les randos, aluguers etc....."

Le seul petit bémol, pour le petit déjeuner  nous aurions préféré des jus de fruit corrects plutôt que chimiques proche du soda.

"The family room was small, but had everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and the drink prices were reasonable. The best choice in the area. Evening village life is a separate show, unfortunately we couldn't find any entertainment nearby. And the wealthier residents instead gathered at our place of stay."

The first night we had trouble sleeping because at 3AM all the villagers started making noise (roosters, dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, sheep) but by the second and third we were already used to the village sounds.

Man får god valuta for pengene men skal være klar over, at det er en "hotelskole" med meget unge mennesker som hele tiden skal have bekræftet, hvad de må eller ikke må. Fine faciliteter men ikke let at bruge dem.

Outside walls completely built in glass are not best thermal insulator that's why during winter is a bit chill during the night

"Island Hopper was recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint. The staff made us feel at 'home' right from the airport pick up. The beds are more comfortable than ours at home. The restaurant is also excellent! Hope to be back one day."

Taxi costs are high in Cayman so best to rent a car if in this location.

Shower glass looked like it wasn't cleaned for a looong time.

"I's a nice, relaxing place in a beautiful natural setting. A bit above Nioumachoua and with a very nice view over the hills and coast from the room balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful and they can inform you about possible activities as well. The room was comfortable and reasonably clean, there was an (intact) mosquito net and air con. The breakfast was included and you can order dinner as well, which was delicious."

The door handles tend to fall out and should be repaired. Some ants in the room. Some waiting time for breakfast.
