"We loved the quiet scenic location and the beautiful, elegant new resort with top tier facilities. Felt pampered by the staff and enjoyed the best massage. The resort provide free shuttle into Koror morning and afternoon, which is ideal for divers heading to the rock island dive sites. Loved the huge wall of windows showing us the turquoise kingfishers and long tailed white tropic birds."

Resort is tailored to Asian touists with a lack of English instructions on remotes, etc, but staff were super helpful.

"The pool was necessary but a little dirty. The ac is effective and the hot water is too. You cant ask to much of hospitality businesses in this part of west africa but this place exceeded them. This place is great for overlanders"

Its definitely more of a "hang out" hotel for locals to come swim or watch football. It will probably be a little rowdy on some weekends. The staff seemed a little confused how to handle overnight guests.

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."

"The location is great -- just 5 minutes to the beach and close to the main cafés and restaurants. The apartment is a good size and has a blackout system, so you don’t get sunlight coming in. The hotel also has two of the best restaurants in town -- Bottega and Plaza -- and they are fantastic."

I was not provided with a tea kettle or a hair dryer, as listed in the room description. Also, you can hear people walking to their rooms and staff talking while cleaning.

"The beds were comfortable and if you found the private bathroom the shower there was the best I have ever had anywhere. Good pressure and hot water. The location is great because it is close to the shops. They have a restaurant there and while the prices are a bit steep the food was quite good."

The place is a hotel in the process of renovation. It is a little old and had seen grander days. Our rooms while having clean beds saw windows that had cobwebs on them and flaky paint. The kitchen is communal and there was just one mug for all. The dish rags were used and dirty. There is a huge clock tower which is a feature of the town and it chimes all through the night. So if you are a light sleeper ask for a back room off the road. The bar staff in the hotel were excellent but there was a dispute with the owner who had posted different information on Booking.com from the room we received. We wanted two separate beds and were initially given one. After additional money was paid we got one room with two beds.

His dedication, generosity, and genuine care are truly rare to find. Thanks to him, our stay was smooth, comfortable, and unforgettable. He turned our visit to Gabala into a perfect experience and set a new standard for what true hospitality means. This hotel is outstanding, but Mr. Nurlan is its greatest asset. Very isolated, surrounded by an abandoned resort. Menu very limited and expensive although the chef was very obliging and did cook of menu dishes for those who asked. Our room wasn’t cleaned twice and we had to remind someone to do it, we had to move rooms as the toilet facilities broke on our first room but this was handled quickly. For the cost of the room I would have expected a little more e.g. bottled water free in the room, tissues to be available in the room, better quality toilet paper.

"Super fint hotel til prisen, der ligger i gåafstand til alt, du skal se i Monaco. Virkelig value for money i det ellers dyre land. Der var, hvad vi skulle bruge. Flinkt personale. Der er kun trapper til værelserne, som har mindre badeværelser, men det gjorde ikke os noget som helst. Vi fik lov til at have vores bagage på hotellet efter checkout og indtil vi skulle flyve sent om aftenen. Vi prøvede ikke morgenmaden."

Nogle af dørene på etagen trængte til at blive smurt og knirkede helt vildt meget, så vi blev vækket om natten, når andre gæster kom og gik. Udover det var der dejligt stille.

"The resort is just next to a clean beach for breathing fresh air all of the times, has a clean swimming pool, pool side sitting area, bar selling drink options and snacks, kitchen offering different food options. There are only a few rooms here (5-6) so you can check availability for booking. There are many coconut trees at the facility and you can enjoy a great sunshine exposure at this place."

There was nothing that you don't like here as you are close to the pool and beach front. However, the place is situated at ELWA, a few km far from city, so you would need to get a taxi if you have business in Monrovia town (Sinkor or Clara town etc.)

"The rooms were large and clean, the location was very convenient. There was a gas station nearby, so you could buy things at any time. The restaurant downstairs had very tasty meals. Don't forget to try the pizzas! The staff was helpful and friendly. Even though it was close to the highway, you couldn't hear any car noises."

"The family room was small, but had everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and the drink prices were reasonable. The best choice in the area. Evening village life is a separate show, unfortunately we couldn't find any entertainment nearby. And the wealthier residents instead gathered at our place of stay."

The first night we had trouble sleeping because at 3AM all the villagers started making noise (roosters, dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, sheep) but by the second and third we were already used to the village sounds.

"Great small hotel and pub. Good breakfast with pancaces and best scrambled eggs I ever had in any hotel in Europe. They could sell it as separated dish and I would buy it every morning. Lot of TV channels for every taste."
