"Vi havde et skønt ophold på Yubarta Lodge. Cecilia er en sød og hjælpsom vært, som er meget opmærksom på gæsterne. Stedet har en skøn pool, og en dejlig stor have med cikader og fuglesang. Vi havde endda selskab af en stor flok røde ara papegøjer i et træ tæt på haven. Der er et velfungerende køkken med alt udstyr og køleskab. Vi nød beliggenheden med gå afstand til stranden og nationalparken. Prisen på værelserne er rigtig god. Vi nød også vandautomaten med frisk koldt vand."

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

Dorms are by the main road and very noisy with traffic so hard to sleep. Creaky floorboards also.

"Doba and his family were exceptionally welcoming, outgoing, and fun. We spent three nights at chez doba, and went on two hikes each day, to different waterfalls, viewpoints, and villages. In the evening we played football with the children and drank beer and tea with the locals. Special shoutout to Amadou, our guide for our stay - a great guy! Highly highly highly recommend Campement Chez Doba to anyone visiting Senegal, its been the highlight of our trip. We also booked onto an extra trip with Doba to tour a nearby bedik village, which was very picturesque! Doba Tours also offers other tours around Senegal, including Dakar and Niocolo Koba National Park, which we didnt use, but heard good things from other guests. The food was good and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable!"

A bit noisy customers second night but it was okay

"I had a truly wonderful stay here. The front desk staff was incredibly nice, patient, and easy to talk to, he made the whole experience even better. The hotel has everything you would need, including a hair dryer. The bathroom and shower were especially great, very clean and comfortable. I was also really touched by the sign at the entrance of the bathroom clearly stating “Female Toilet, males not allowed.” It shows real respect for women and made me feel very safe. Little details like this genuinely warm your heart. I honestly don’t understand why this hotel has such a low rating on Booking. If the full score is 10, I would definitely give it a 10. Thank you again, I truly loved my stay here."

"The hostel is in the heart of Antwerp, it’s walkable distance from anywhere. We got access to our room very early which was a nice surprise. Our beds were comfortable and the shared spaces were alright. I liked the decor. Our stay came with a free breakfast, which was absolutely lovely. As fas as hostels go, this was a very pleasant experience."

My only gripe was again the location. Being that the hostel is in the very center, there was a lot of noise outside until the early hours of the morning. Again, not the hostel’s fault, just something to keep in mind.

"Stunning setting, dynamic staff, interesting fusion of accommodation and working plant nursery. Bathroom feels like you are in the middle of the Amazon. Very refreshing."

Locating the Da Terra at night is not straightforward. It is surrounded by several houses and some distance off the road.

"The views from the house is amazing! The beaches nearby are empty and beautiful, and you got a bit of a local vibe. Food was really good and in general good value for money. Would highly recommend. If you come to surf be aware that there is no good places to rent proper surfboards nearby🏄‍♀️"

- would have been great if there were a kettle for guests' use. Needed some hot water to soothe my stomach and had to ask the staff to boil a cup for me.
