"Very good location, close to the city beach , 5 min on foot. There is a pool on property which is very practical when it is hot during the day and you do not feel like walking to the beach. An outdoor kitchen is available, there is a gas stove, BBQ place etc, very useful for people wanting to cook. The apartment is clean, spacious and right for our group. The hosts are extremely nice people, ready to help when needed. I would definitely recommend this place to travellers! Thank you Safar guest house!"

"This was our second stay, but in the bigger villa. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Having everything we needed right there was super convenient. Definitely made the whole trip smoother and more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back again sometime."

Leaving the island.

"Elvis and Claudia are wonderful hosts. Helping you out with their local knowledge, lifts to different places in Georgetown and advice on what to do. The rooms come with a very quiet AC and a comfortable bed. The area is safe and a local store is less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast was just what I wanted. While they advertised a check-in and out time they are very flexible. Free Tea and coffee was supplied in the dining room."

Remember to bring PG Tips 😉.

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

"Virkelig god, afslappet stemning overalt. Vi lånte cykler til en fin 20 km tur. Spiste aftensmad her de fleste dage, typisk hjemmelavet god thaimad. Vellavet morgenmad, lige som du ønsker den. Mange gode anbefalinger af værten til ture, restauranter m. m. Værelset stort og sengen god. Helt roligt om natten. Meget let at kommunikere med den yderst hjælpsomme vært, der svarer straks på alt. Hans anbefaling af restaurant var et stort hit. Grab og Bolt til byen er let og billigt - omkring 150 bath."

As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. "Most charming accomodation in Prishtina. The lovely elderly couple maintaining the room(s) is heartwarmingly welcoming. The room(s), I've been staying in the one facing the street, are well lit and comfortable even for a longer stay, offering privacy and leaving room for some exchange with the owners as well. "We were originally going to stay at the main Thermal Hotel, but saw this and the rating and thought why not, and so glad we did! The property is next door and in the centre, and the host is amazing. Guy called me ahead of arrival to tell me about location / access etc, and was the perfect host when we arrived. He had even set up the room TV including Netflix to our language. The rooms were not only spotless but modern with an elegant touch. Would definitely recommend."

"Mohammad and Heba are great hosts! Communication in English is easy, and Heba provides most delicious traditional palestinian and jordanian food at dinner. Being on a hike without car, I strongly depended on their perfect organiziation of transfers. Sections of the Jordan Trail, and the holy mountain Tell Mar Elias are nearby and beautifully covered by flowers in spring. The guesthouse is conveniently located between the Ajloun Forest Reserve which is in hiking distance, and the old city of Ajloun with its magnificent castle. I had initially intended a short visit here, and finally stayed almost a week."

"Fantastic, amazing,clean beautiful cosy place. Very friendly and felpful owner, he brought us butter, as I forgot and also tea. He helped me about what to see in the area. Very very cosy,home atmosphere. I am so so happy to choose this accomodation and I highly recommend it to everyone. At 10.00 pm there is silence. Parking next to house. Everything is very close."
