The walk to to the beach is not bad it is right across the street however it is not a main beach so make sure to have water shoes. we didn't swim there and walked down to the area's with most of the resorts. That is a solid 20-30 minute walk one way. The only issue with walking was that if you want restaurants they are down there so having a car would be more convenient.

"From the airport, it’s a 20-minute drive. GPS may show that you arrive a little earlier, but once you enter the correct alley, drive a few meters further. You will need the gate to enter the villa — it’s right opposite the trees. You will see it. The town of Houmt Souk is 7–10 minutes away by car, which is very convenient if you value peace, comfort, and coziness, while still being close to the city. Having a car or using taxis is essential for your convenience. At the villa, you will hear birds singing, and there are many authentic national elements. There is a private yard, and you can also park your car on the property. If it’s cool or hot, you can turn on the air conditioners. The kitchen is well equipped, there are two bathrooms, a washing machine, and good hot-water pressure. Comfortable and self-sufficient. The polite and attentive host will guide you and help you with anything you need."

Owners not there so being run by backpackers/chef - meant little things were missed. Boat to get there is very overpriced.

The hostess and owner were friendly and very helpful -it was a pleasure to meet them both. 4. We were on a walking holiday and access to the southern half of the island was good from here. 5. It was extremely hot during our stay. The lovely swimming pool and terrace were much appreciated. 6. Exploring the plants and seeing the birds in the compact but varied garden was a pleasure. 7. This was our best accommodation during our 4 weeks on the island."

We would have appreciated a comfortable chair in the living area. A car is needed to get to the nearest supermarket. It is close by, but walking along the road is too dangerous.

"The property location was great easy to find and if you know negril it’s on the hip strip. The property was well kept and clean. It’s a home away from home. The host was exceptional with constant checking up to ensure everything was going smoothly. I would definitely recommend an for future stay. "I liked how quiet it was, although the highway was closed at Roger's pass at the time. I liked the cabin very much and the beds were very comfortable! It's a very back to nature experience there! Anybody arriving wishing to check in, should call the number in front of the ark if there isn't anyone around, I spoke to a very nice lady on the phone who told me which cabin we were in and she kindly advised us what to do 🙂 we would love to stay there again one day."

Very bad internet but it was not essential for us. A bit hard to find - we got the turn from the main road on the third try and we used navigation. The turn is just in a very inconvenient location, you have to be very careful with the traffic when you go there.
