"I had a simply wonderful time here. The host is exceptionally kind and always available for any questions, at any time of day. The room was clean, tidy, and pleasant, a cozy little guest unit that felt very private and welcoming. She’s also an amazing cook, the meals were delicious, thoughtful, and full of love. All around is the magical quiet of an authentic village, with green nature and a calming view. You’ll also be greeted by Chucha, the sweet family dog, who clearly loves guests and adds even more charm to the stay. A warm, peaceful local experience, exactly what I was hoping to find."

"Had an amazing stay at Akunamatata and would highly recommend it. The house was clean and spacious and only a few minutes from the Main Street of Grand Case and the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed while away. The outdoor area was relaxing and the bed very comfortable. Although we were sharing the house with other people it was a perfect place to stay. Thank you to Jamal for being so accommodating!"

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. "Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! We spent a beautiful day and night enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching a stunning sunset by the sea. The two kitchens, one large and one smaller, made meal preparations easy and seamless for our group. The host was incredibly responsive, ensuring our check-in was smooth and that we had everything we needed. The thoughtful amenities provided made our weekend stay feel effortless and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or experience! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a large group."

"Excelente el tamaño de la habitación incluyendo su cama con sus múltiples capas de colchas para arroparse. Tenia un parador pequeño para colocar los objetos y mochilas. El baño contaba con agua caliente al girar la perilla derecha con la izquierda al ser el de frío regulaba que tan caliente uno deseaba. Excelente servicio a la habitación, incluso proveen con más rollo de papel higiénico en caso de requerir. El hotel y sus lugares aledaños son muy tranquilos y seguros. Igual uno debe ser precavido para evitar cualquier situación. La dueña del hotel responde casi inmediatamente si se presenta una novedad."

Lamentablemente uno se percató al momento de elegir en booking.com. No especifiqué desayunos, por ende no recibí mi desayuno. La habitación no estaba aislada del frío - no contaba con calefactor. La habitación solo contaba con dos jabones y no contaba con 1 satchet/frazo pequeño de shampoo.

The shower is a bit uncomfortable

"Beautiful location and a more friendly owner is hard to find! Shodman ate dinner with us, told us about the area, took us on a fantastic hike and helped organize our trip back to Samarkand. The food was among the better we had in Uzbekistan."

The only thing that was not great was that since we were there in November it was pretty cold at night even inside when eating etc but they had heating fans which worked quite well.

"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."

We arrived right on the day of a big storm which primarily hit the highlands. For the next few days CST, the telephone company, was everywhere fixing lines. There was no wifi for the whole two days we were at the hotel. It is possible that this was a consequence of the storm. We made it work with mobile data. The hotel sells credits if you have a CST Sim card.

It would be nice to have a window in the room.

"Mr. Maurits was really nice and friendly. He offered us a lot of tips from Aruba. He was with us at the biggest supermarket in Aruba. The place was very nice with all you need for a long stay. The pool was perfect."
