"Vi er vilde med stedet. Bygningen er 250 år gammel og bare smuk. Værelset er rigtig godt til prisen og beliggenheden er god! Personalet er rigtig søde og hjælpsomme. Gode til engelsk!"

"Beautiful property. Rooms are good, shower is amazing. I love the free coffee/tea station. The manager of the hotel is super welcoming and can give you great advice about the Quilotoa loop. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the city and surroundings mountains!"

"Golden Rest Latacunga Hotel is a fantastic place to stay and easy to highly recommend. The staff are amazing, and the owner is exceptionally helpful — from personally guiding us to the room, holding our luggage for 3 days, helping flag down a taxi and negotiating the price, to giving clear, detailed information about buses and travel logistics. If you’re planning to do the Quilotoa loop, this is absolutely the man to talk to. The rooms are comfortable, with hot showers and great water pressure. Breakfast is standard but perfectly fine, and the lovely courtyard is a great place to relax. The location is excellent and convenient for exploring Latacunga and beyond. Overall, a welcoming, well-run hotel that makes traveling in the area much easier. Highly recommended."

"Clean, thick bed covers to beat the Sierra cold, super nice and helpful staff. Location is hard to beat and the old colonial building is gorgeous! It has two hot water tea stations day round, and a nice lounge room with couches and a few games to connect with other travelers, or just spend some time outside your room. Would definitely recommend!!"

"Solid hotel! Super central location in Latacunga. We came for a good night of sleep between hiking in Cotopaxi and Quilotoa and were not disappointed. Very friendly host who helped us a lot with finding our way with the public transport"

"Exceptional location in town, 5 mins from most things in the centre and 15 min walk from the bus station. Stayed two nights either side of Quilotoa Loop and they stored our luggage for free. Given a complementary breakfast on the second day. Comfortable room, hot shower. First night our room had an electric heater which was a nice touch. Friendly host."
"Unfortunately no games room as pictured/advertised (which I was looking forward to!). It's now just lots of tables like a restaurant."
"The owner was extremely helpful and kind during our stay. My partner twisted his ankle just before we arrived and the owner helped with ice and anointment, and checked in on us during our stay. Also the shower was brilliant,very powerful and hot!"
