"Vi var virkelig glade for vores ophold på Plinio. Hostellet er pænt, meget rent og hyggeligt. Det er smukt dekoreret og der er mange steder man kan slappe af og hænge ud. Poolen var en god bonus! Vores værelse var meget behageligt. Bussen går næsten lige til døren hvert 15. min, så det er nemt at fragte sig frem og tilbage til Quepos og Manuel Antonio."

"Kunne være fint at gøre gæsterne opmærksomme på, at billetter til nationalparken bliver udsolgt flere dage i forvejen."

"Hyggelig stemning, smuk udsigt, meget kort gåafstand til bussen mod nationalparken (som kun kostede 380 colones at tage og turen varede kun 10-15 minutter) og god mad på hostellets restaurant. God værdi for pengene!"

"Trykket på vandhanen på badeværelset var ikke særligt god. Der kunne godt have været bedre muligheder for at tage sine hænder bagefter (papiret smuldrede i dine hænder). Bedre udluftnings muligheder på værelset havde været rart (en aircondition have været rart). Dette overskyggede dog ikke alle de gode ting ved hostellet."

"The property was lovely, the rooms were nice and lots of places to chill. They also have lots of birds around the property including two scarlet macaws in the palm next to the restaurant. Also you can hear a toucan most evenings over the road. The property is also near the bus stops which is useful to get to the town and also to the NP."

"Lovely hostel, friendly staff and ideal location. The facilities were great, with an added bonus of watching the parrots flying to their nest in the trees morning and evening. I would recommend!"

"Some cabins in the nature, with a beautiful pool vue on the sunset. Perfect for birdwatching. Staff were great. Our room was good, very basic with no AC as described when we booked it (temperature was ok with the fan). The shared bathroom is clean and quite big."

"We loved the jungle feeling in the hostel, we even saw parrots! Everything (including the pool) was clean. The bus stop is right outside the hostel so it is very easy to go to the beach, the town or the national park. Josh at reception was great!"

"Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable. There was a lot of space to chill, with tables, couches, hammocks."

"The pool was a bit dirty (leaves and hairs in the water). The wait for the shared bathroom was sometimes a bit long."

"The place is really nice, we liked the beds and wood everywhere. And chillout area was really nicely made. The reception guy in the evening is also super helpful and fun."

"The accommodation is really right next to the beach, so it's super convenient if you want to have a quick soak (not much swimming, rip currents). The people at parking La Pavona know Tortuguero Adventures, so it's easy enough to get to/from Tortuguero, you get dropped off directly at their office. The host was really nice, so was the guide for our night walk, honestly a great experience."

"The Vistavista Lodge is absolutely incredible. We loved every minute of our two-night stay. It’s completely off the beaten track but very much worth the slightly bumpy road to get there. The views across the lake to the volcano are simply breathtaking. Waking up to that panorama each morning was something special. The staff are so warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious throughout our stay. There’s also a beautiful waterfall on the property, it’s a bit of a trek to reach, but absolutely worth the walk. The lodge arranged a half-day bird and nature walk for us with a guide called David, who was excellent. If you can request him, do, he’s knowledgeable, passionate and made the experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, surrounded by extraordinary scenery and far from the tourist crowds, The Vistaverde Lodge is perfect. Oh, and don't forget to buy some of their coffee from the manager's farm. Fab!!! A taste of Costa Rica at home :)"

"The four bungalows are located on top of a hill and offer spectacular views of the ocean and the coastline. They are nicely decorated and each has its own terrace with seating area. A delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, french bread and jam is served in front of the main building - and again you have awesome views. To cool down and relax there is a pool surrounded with sun loungers and hammocks. The owners Corinne and Laurent are very friendly and helped us enormously when we experienced some trouble with our rental car."

The pool view is stunning not sure the pictures capture the vibarancy, and breakfast is healthy. It was nice to work out at the gym. Conveniently located near Walmart and some takeaway places for food. Was able to save my luggage after check out , so good if you have a late flight."
