"I was looking for an immersive place with nature and I found it."

It had to be expected but the rain falling on the tent made it hard to sleep, otherwise everything is good !

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers."

Ok, cold water showers, but hey.

The food at dinner could be much better - like simple and fresh. Our guide on game drives delivered at the end but was not inspiring or dedicated

Vores telt lå op ad vejen som ikke er helt lille. Kl 7 om morgenen drøner der biler og lastbiler forbi - ikke mange, men hver 2-3 minut er nok til at forstyrre og er ikke helt i pagt med naturen. Men derudover var alt virkelig stille og fint

"Fantastisk savanne og bush område med mulighed for at se big five på 2 daglige game drives. Ingen hegn, så man bor midt i naturen med alt hvad det indebærer. Elefanter besøgte dagligt lejren for at drikke vand, og råvildtet gik og græssede i området Glimrende tag-selv-buffet"

Teltene var meget slidte med mindre huller, toilettet løb og var utæt og “gardinet” på ydersiden af flere “vinduer” kunne ikke lukkes, fordi lynlåsene var i stykker. Det betød, at de hang og flagrede i vinden om natten.

"The location of the camp is amazing. The host/driver picked us up in Douz and drove around 120Km in the desert. The ride was crazy, if you have motion sickness, be prepared. The dinner in the camp was really really good, better than our expectation. The starry night was also stunning, we saw so many stars in the pitch black night. The hosts were also nice."

To be fair, both our driver and host doesn't really speak English, so communiation was kinda poor. To me the ride in the desert was a bit too much, I felt dizzy the whole day after. Lastly, the price was also quite high - one night for a camp 140 euro plus 140 euro for the desert ride which is not included in the booking price page.

"We had a great stay and it was actually a highlight of our trip. The team was very friendly and helpful. Our son especially liked the animals running around."

The neighbors were playing music very loudly until midnight. It’s still glamping and not a hotel room so it was disturbing but that can always happen when you go camping.
