"The position of the property is great overlooking the ferry terminal which you can walk to. We felt safe & enjoyed walking round the area. Nice restaurant up the road. Our room was spacious & comfortable with a nice bathroom & opening onto the front terrace. Deborah is a delightful host & serves a good breakfast. We would recommend staying here when in Belize City. We did a day trip to Caye Caulker which was lovely but it’s worth staying over so you can go snorkeling as the swimming from the island is limited."

"Converted colonial building. Huge room, comfortable beds and good quality bedding. Good shower pressure and a lovely balcony to relax on with a view of all the comings & goings of the port. Lovely home cooked breakfast each morning. Ask Deborah the owner to tell you about the history of the house and her journey to ownership."

"Everything about the hotel is exceptional: the location, right on the waterfront in the historic center of Belize, just minutes from the resort village, the main tourist attractions, and the museum. The homemade, plentiful, and fresh breakfast is delicious, and the owners are simply wonderful—attentive, always willing to help, and friendly. Deborah took us to places, arranged tours and excursions for us, helped us with high-level professional contacts, and made her hotel available to us."

"There was nothing I didn't like. Although we've had the living room available for working, a work table in the bedroom would help."

"Everything. You wake up to a beautiful sunrise from the balcony of your room after a good night’s sleep in your comfortable bed. After that, go downstairs for the best homemade breakfast you can get. The owner is so friendly that you feel like you’re eating in a very cozy and warm home."

"The building had lots of historical charm and local artwork on the walls. The owners were great and answered all our questions about the local area and its recent changes. The room had working A/C, and breakfast was fantastic."

"Deborah, the GM/Owner, was so delightful. She really made the stay something special. The view of the water was great, as expected. Enjoyed looking across the bay at the colorful harbor. Watching the Cruise Ship Tenders coming and going was fun. Should receive a rating higher than 10/10..."
