Lejligheder i Brunei

"Lovely double aspect room with lots of sunshine coming into the room. Loved the balcony - but could be a problem in the height of the season as it would have been overlooked if the rooms near ours was occupied as their balconies were very close. I would have loved to use the swimming pool if it had been heated, but being that our stay was in March the water was too cold."

The description of the location was a little misleading as one of the pubs mentioned had closed down - some years ago, but the details had not been amended on the website - which did in fact influence our choice in Sandpiper’s favour, and we were disappointed that it wasn’t nearer the supermarket mentioned in the write-up, either. Also, I put my suitcase in the corner of the bedroom flat - and when I moved it, I could see it had picked up a lot of dust, indicating that the corners of the bedroom weren’t very well cleaned!

The guy at reception messed up my check-out. He couldn't find my booking, said I must have done it privately, and even asked me what my room rate was! Then I told him it was on booking.com again and he said fine, you can go, (presumably cos my credit card guaranteed payment?) Then as I was about to go to the airport he called me back and said you still need to pay. But this is a fabulous place. That was just a minor frustration.

"Perfectly located on Glasgow's West End in walking distance to the city centre, the University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Park just around the corner. Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street, both just minutes away, with their many choices for food and drinks, are great for both lunch and dinner. The flat was in a quiet neighbourhood, and we enjoyed our stay so much."

"Jelena met us at the property and gave us the keys. From before our arrival through until we were in the taxi back to the airport at the end of our stay, she was very helpful. The apartment has been reviewed accurately by others. It's very comfortable and in a wonderful location ... NokNok, a great Thai restaurant with a lunch combo deal, is very close by. We would definitely come back."

If you prefer a firmer mattress, you may find the bed too soft. That's the only thing we can think of.

"The location on Grand Case beach is wonderful, especially as the unit has a walk out deck to the beach. We really loved being able to walk into town for dinner. There are so very many fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom very dark. I love sleeping in and my early-riser husband loved sitting on the deck in the early morning .We also liked being able to use our Netflix account. Aurelie, the manager was helpful and quick to respond on Whatsapp to questions."

There were a few things that could be improved. There were only 3 shelves and no drawers to put our clothes away and some hooks would have been nice. The lounge chairs on the deck were very uncomfortable, which detracted from what should have a highlight. Although the soundproofing within the apartment was very good, the bass-pouding noise from the beach bar down the beach was overwhelming on the weekends and not good on other days. It didn't keep us up, but definitely interfered with our outside enjoyment.

Meget svært at finde. Adressen er Friars Hill Road, men stedet har intet at gøre med denne adresse. Det er off Maple Hill Road hvor der burde være et skilt!! Nærmeste strand er ikke Yepton Beach, men Dickenson Bay!

Nothing to do with the accomodation but eating out is ridiculously expensive.

Absolutely nothing that I didn't like

"The location was perfect, the hosts are very friendly and the apartment itself was clean, well equipped, and is generally an exceptional value for money. The whole ambient exudes of warmth."

"Nice lively neighborghood, plenty of bars and food option nearby. The main sights are in a walking distance or a short drive by a taxi or bike. Nice staff. You can exchange euros at a good rate. View from the window"

"Fin lejlighed lidt uden for centrum, ca. 1/2 times vandring til centrum. Rigtig god plads i den lejlighed vi havde. Rigtig gode støjreducerende vinduer, så stille og roligt i lejligheden på trods at nytårsfyrværkeri. Lige overfor indgangen til lejligheden, er den en rigtig god cafe/bager med rigtigt godt brød, skyr og kaffe og rugbrød! Vi spiste morgenmaden her."

Der var for mange duftpinde, alt for kraftig duft. Lidt svært at lukke døren op til selve lejligheden med koden, denne skulle trykkes 2 - 3 gange før døren gik op.

"Spacious apartment, very comfortable bed and pillows. Great pool. Hotel is set back from the road, so nice And quite. good secure parking. Two great beaches nearby. Next door to a good supermarket. Freddie and staff very helpful"

The staff did their very best to ensure we enjoyed our stay, they were very attentive. The property was perfect for me and my whanau (family) we live near the ocean in NZ. We enjoy being near the ocean and forest. A great opportunity for all to rejuvenate mind and body. We were all able to relax and enjoy the private beach. We were very grateful and blessed for their assistance with the option of a late check-out and help with transport to Uturoa Airport. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The Kitchen/pantry storage and dining area's were clean perfect for our needs. We will be back. Tau Ke!!"

I used a single room and there were not enough sockets . There were 2 bed side lamps and one didn't have a socket to plug in. I have to put the kettle on the floor. There was an extension wire, where tv,fridge etc were pluged in . Not very professional. More socket points in appropriate places will improve the standards.
