"Smooth check-in, excellent restaurant facilities. Great setting and very quiet environment. Room facilities were all great. Staff arranged lunch box as I left very early."

"The Ambience and the food. The rooms were also quite lovely. They also chose a good wine for me to pair with food and the staff was very friendly."

"Business visit in the area and was recommended to stay here. Enjoyable stay. Rooms were simple, effective and clean. The restaurant and bar on site had good menu choices and was enjoyable. Staff were friendly. Lucky enough to see a hippo in the river behind the lodge which was an added bonus!"

"Security presence was good, however the patrols using their radios on high volume around the rooms was not ideal for guests and my colleague who is a light sleeper commented on this during our stay."

The owners and the manager were all lovely - very welcoming, approachable, and helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast was included, which was such a treat. There was always a wide variety of fruit, cereals, toast, and jams, as well as a delicious cooked breakfast. The house itself is beautiful and has so much charm. The location is perfect and feels very safe. I would definitely stay here again."
