"We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Avenues Guesthouse. The hosts welcomed us as we arrived, showed us around, and let us know a shuttle service was available to drive us to a restaurant for supper. Our room as well as the rest of the shared spaces were decorated in a beautiful and tasteful manner. Mieke and Martin answered any questions we had about Mossel Bay and gave us a few tips about driving on the left hand side of the road and the unwritten rules of the road in South Africa. We highly recommend this Guesthouse!"

"We had a warm welcome from the hosts on arrival who showed us our rooms and the facilities. The rooms were a good size and comfortable. They provided a folder of recommended restaurants' menus so we could decide where to have dinner before going down to town. It's a 20 minute walk to the town centre downhill, so not too bad and you could arrange a complimentary shuttle ride back up. The guest house is only 5 minutes away from the St Blaize coastal hiking trail so well placed for my morning walk. Freshly made breakfast was very tasty with a choice of cakes to round it off."

"Kaijaiki is a true gem! I have stood in unit 4 which was super spaciouse, had a lovely well equipped kitchenett and a beautiful, tranquil view onto the courtyard. The next door coffee-store where breakfast is served is so cozy and food is deliciouse. Manager and staff go over and above to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend it."
