"We booked a tour of the 7 Lakes in Tajikistan through the hotel. They used a very experienced guide Islam. The drive in Tajikistan is very spectacular and the drivers booked for our tour were very skilful and we saw all 7 lakes. It was an exhilarating experience."

"It was hot and we would have liked to have had a sheet on the bed for cover instead of a heavy doona. The reception staff Bexruz was very helpful in getting us light cotton sheets."

"The room was spacious and with good furniture. Bed was quite large. The best thing about the hotel, though, is the restaurant, one of the best in town. Not only you will have a top notch breakfast, but also a convenient option for your evenings. We almost never do that, but we ended up eating at the hotel restaurant almost every single night. The only time we didn't, we ended up regretting it."

"The hotel is connected to its own restaurant which provided lovely breakfasts for us. They also do some great food in the evenings. It’s a very pretty hotel with a lovely garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us sort out the local version of Uber on our phones which was amazing for helping us get around Samarkand and visiting the sights. The Registan is about a 40 minute walk through the city there or a short taxi ride. Everything was very clean and our room was very comfortable. Situated in a lovely leafy area of Samarkand."
