"The stay is awesome! So comfy and warm! There's a heated floor which is so great in early spring (temperature was below 10 deg at night). Room is decorated in style - with national motifs and fabric, nice wooden ceiling. Breakfast was good."

"It's always great to get a single bed private room as a solo traveller but Mutara Hotel offered more than that. Situated at a prime location to start old Town walk, a great cafe just beside and a great welcome and guidance by the lady host. Mutara offers all you need."

Room and bathroom was clean, good wifi, nice breakfast and the familly which is running this business very kind, they do their best that the guest have a good time. Most important is that, the host is a very very kind and sweet madam, she even prepared a bag of food for me the day before the date on which I left early in the morning. "A beautifully decorated homestay in the heart of the old city, Bukhara. The hosts are very warm and welcoming! I got a lot of insight into the Uzbek way of life from them and it seems that many customs and rituals are similar to my country too! The room is very big, spacious, neat and clean with all the amenities .The location is perfect , all attractions are within 200m. Our hostess served a delicious breakfast with a lot of variety each day and her charming daughter Sabiha ( speaks good English) suggested good cafes too! Our host helped us get a taxi late at night at 3.30 to the railway station. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable !🙏😊"

"The hotel is surrounded by greenery and offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It is about a 12–15 minute walk to the main road, where you can find supermarkets, fast-food outlets, and various restaurants. The TV Tower is also within walking distance, just over 20 minutes away. All staff members were warm, approachable, and efficient, which greatly enhanced the overall experience."

The location is perfect for walks in the mountains and valleys nearby. The accommodation is as to be expected for a mountain guesthouse: cosy but basic."

"We had the best time ever! The family is very kind and fun, we played volleyball with the kids and felt right at home. The rooms are cozy and private. The mountain view is also a plus. The mum cooks all the meals and is an incredible cook. The variety of the meals is remarkable! We definitely recommend it and cant wait to go back! They also took care of every activity we wanted to do. We already miss it!"

"The family were very welcoming. The horse riding they organised was fabulous, one of the highlights of our entire holiday in Uzbekistan. Hiking opportunities straight from the door or just some time chilling in a very relaxed atmosphere . Home cooked rustic food was really nice and plentiful. We were lucky enough to be joined by the family to eat dinner on two of our 3 night stay, the last night was too cold for them to sit out though. Breakfast was great too. The showers in the guest block are very good ( but the right hand one doesn’t drain well)"
