"We loved our stay at Villa Kumi! This place is just what I like! It’s a small unassuming guest house / hotel that feels very personal and private and has a special feel. It Almost felt we had the place to ourselves at points! It was quiet and the location is excellent. The staff are very welcoming and full of smiles and friendly. The room was well equipped and the little touches each day to clean and tidy were much appreciated. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and we all especially loved Pierro the dog ! Our only feedback would be some sauces for the eggs and sausage at breakfast!! Hot sauce 😆"

"The style of the Villa is very chic, it gives a very cool ocean vibe. It is a smaller establishment, but this gives its original feeling. You can really feel at home, and the staff gives its all as well to achieve this relaxing feeling. The owner cooks really delicious italian food, and he looks after the guests and all their needs. The whole staff is very flexible, everything for the customers!"

"While the villa is not very far from the beach (8-10mins approxximately on foot), you have to cross the local neighbourhood. The locals are very nice, you won't feel unsafe or anything, but there are lot of trash and the terrain is rugged because there is no proper road (taxi struggled a bit as well)."

"The Rooms had plenty of space for my families things and beds were comfortable. The whole estate was cosy and perfect size for us as we were 2 seperate families. We had our own space for ourselves and would regulary meet at the pool to relax as if it was our own little community. Stefano is a great host who answered and rectified all our concerns and issues. Couldn't have asked for a better host. The staff equally matched Stefanos excellence as a host and also were very nice and helpful."

"The only issue we had is the AC going down which Stefano fixed on the same day so really wasn't much of an issue. I would say for any newcommers to Zanzibar please be aware that due to where they are in the world they have powercuts and their wi-Fi speeds are not as good as the west yet. This is no fault of Villa Kumi this is just for now an unavoidable issue due to the geological location of Zanzibar."

"Everything!!! The host Stefano and the Signore Piero 😂 took care of every our need and fulfilled every our wish. The room was spaciously big and comfy, got cleaned every day, wonderful breakfast, clean pool, very nice and friendly staff. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the beach (only 10 minute walk) but have privacy and a quite atmosphere. We felt very safe, since the security guy is also there the whole night. Big + is also a generator, when electicity on the island gets shoutet off, the property still has light, wifi and air condition. Dinner is also very delicious, we ate outside the property a couple of times and the food was definelty the best at Villa Kumi! The host helped us with everything, gave us information where to go and recommendations for everything, booked tours for us... I would highly recommend Villa Kumi to everyone and if I ever go back to Zanzibar then only Villa Kumi! 😍"

"Very nice place, very clean and safe. The owner, Stefano was also very helpful and understood all our needs. I would dare to say he was the best host we have experienced during our travels till now. And last but not least, the cute Mr. Piero (the dog) adds additional charm to the place. We have actually felt like at home and next time in Nungwi, we will for sure stay again in Villa Kumi."

"Villa Kirumi is great place to stay in Nungwi area! Location is not far from beach and restaurants. We stayed in Villa for a month and felt really like at home. Owner and all staff are super-friendly and very helpful! Food is good, it also possible to order meals by request, it was very tasty. We are very thankful for generator provision when there were electricity shortages sometimes. It was important for us as we needed to work remotely. We really liked this place and definetely will come back next time. Missing our friend - the dog Piero, he is very kind and nice. Thank everyone in Villa Kirumi for our comfortable staying, we are looking forward to get back!"
