"The room was clean, the staff cleaned it everyday. We could talked everything with the owner also he has a travel agency Seren Blue Safaris, so they organized every program for good price. These was private. Other hand the hotel help everything, fore example laundry and if we needed some fruits."

"We had an unforgettable stay at Kuoom – the perfect place to begin our honeymoon and experience the Serengeti. The location is incredible, with wildlife just minutes from the lodge (we even saw giraffes from our balcony!). "Immersive experience. Naturally they are in the tourism business but do it very well. The village is attached but distinct, allowing the community distance from the razzamatazz. Few enough guests that you feel a part of the community rather than vice versa. We were entertained non stop all evening and all morning, whilst feeling included and welcome. It was school holidays so the school was empty but nonetheless a very impressive enterprise. There are opportunities to donate more but they aren’t heavily pushed. The cultural guides are very knowledgeable and personable. Three miles down a dirt track so suitably remote. Food was excellent. I can’t speak highly enough of the stay. Convenient location for tarangire and manyara. Fit it into your safari itinerary. Better to stay somewhere that helps the community and the educational entertainment makes it well worth the spend."

"Great camp, very close to the entrance gate of the park, so you don’t have to pay the overnight fee and can still get to the park early in the morning. Because it’s so close the animals still come to the camp, we had zebras right in front of our tent and saw some giraffes walking close by the camp as well. The dinner buffet was really good and the overall hang-out areas (outside as well as inside) are really cozy."

"Erik's place is not a regular hostel, it is an escape under beautiful banana trees and shares its ground with his own coffee farm. If you are looking for a stay with a  heartwarming host that is passionate about his region and what it can offer, this is the right choice for you! We were so lucky to have found this hostel and enjoyed the history lessions with Mo, the fresh veggies and the locally grown coffee. Asante sana Erik!"

"The location is very good, close to the beach and the main road, you can take a bus to Paje easily, the pool is clean to swim, the garden is nice, 24 hour security guy at the gate, weel equipped kitchen to use, it is a good place to relax."
