"The access is a bit strange since the reception is not connected directly to the hotel. Sometimes you have the impression you are not in an hotel because there is a store , a deposit a restaurant and the bedrooms all at the same place."

"The stay was very comfortable. The view is amazing from the room, from the restaurant and rooftop. The breakfast was very delicious and hearty for a cold morning. The yun nan cuisine was cooked well. I like the staff in the hotel as they were very sweet. Would love to visit again."

"The location was brilliant with wonderful views of the village and valleys of Mae Salong. The hotel staff were helpful and we used google translate often to communicate clearly which worked very well. Great traditional Yunnanese breakfast included in our tarriff. The local tea was exceptional. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The balcony was a bonus with stunning views and fresh mountain air. The hotel was very helpful with finding a driver to take us on a day trip as well as a transfer to Chiang Khong The local bakery and 7eleven are a short walk away The coffee at the bakery was brilliant as was the freshly cooked food."

"The location is midway between two main temples, tea plantation and war memorial. On set you can taste and buy local oolong tea. Free parking on spot. Hotel’s manager is very open, friendly and helpful, speaks English very well. In December a new location will open right on the tea plantation and I highly recommend to book there)"

"It is rather basic. Good for couple of nights. Futon was funny as I am not used to such type of bedding and it was awkward every time I was trying to get up from “bed”. Some nasty bird was chirping non-stop under the balcony)))) Food at the restaurant was somewhat strange, especially black chicken with herbs."

"We had such a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was huge, the bed very comfortable, the shower hot with good pressure and the views were beautiful. For breakfast each day with had noodles or rice and we could try some of the great teas as well as coffee. The staff were so kind and friendly and helpful. We also went to the tea plantation owned by the hotel owner which was incredible. Overall, it was a really great stay in a peaceful village in the mountains. I would recommend."

"We had a nice view from our room. And the breakfast was delicious. We received the Thai and continental breakfast. The staff didn’t speak any English and they used Google translate to communicate and they were very nice."

"Our air conditioner wasn’t working. It got quite cold in the evening. We had a boiler in our room but it didn’t produce any hot water jut lukewarm water so the showering wasn’t a very pleasant experience. And they had a rooster right below our balcony that started singing at 4 am so we didn’t really need an alarm clock because he woke us up. He sang from 4 am onwards."
