"The location, 100 metres at most from the beautiful beach, was superb. They use only glass bottles for water. No plastic bottles. Whoopee. Thailand is littered with plastic. Staff was ok. Would recommend and stay again."
"I only asked for the room to be cleaned once in the four days I was there. (I always keep the room tidy & clean.) The young girl who cleaned the room didn't lock the door when she had finished cleaning. When I came back in the evening I was shocked to see that she had done that as there was a substantial amount of money in my case. Thankfully nothing was taken but that's an absolute no no. A small number of ants in the room. Seems unavoidable in rural Thailand though. The fridges weren't cold even when I adjusted the temperature downwards to zero. The freezer part of the fridge in both of the rooms I stayed in never froze."

"Nancy, the host, was the star of the show. Whatever you need, Nancy is there for you. Use a kayak for free, rent a scooter, umbrellas, laundry... Rooms were cleaned almost daily. The place itself is across the road from an about 8 km long beautiful empty beach. It gets some local tourists on weekends, but even then not much. Nothing fancy, but everything works. Internet connection is surprisingly fast and stable."
"Perhaps more shelves in the wardrobe, so that one unpack things there rather than on the sofa. The bathroom could have hooks to hang more than one towel."
"This hotel is very basic but it is not expensive so I felt it was good value for money. It was quiet and at night I could hear the waves from my room. It was in a central spot along the beach with many restaurants close by. The area is beautiful and I enjoyed exploring the nearby national parks."
"My door didn't shut properly so I always had mosquitoes in my room and the aircon wasn't great. Also, my room backed on to a kitchen from the place next door so it was noisy in the mornings and sometimes at night. As I said though, the room wasn't expensive so it did provide good value for money."

"The owner and staff very friendly. The room was spotless and a good size. Pakmeng is so beautiful and peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of places to eat nearby and a few shops to buy bits. Beach straight across the road with a beautiful sunset"
