"Located 2 minute walk from town. Large room (number4) on stilts over the sea. Fantastic views and location. Next to small working jetty (2/3 longtailboats a day) interesting to watch. Lovely friendly staff. Very quiet."

"The people who own this place are very nice, helpful and caring. At night you sleep to the sound of the ocean. The place is quiet which we liked very much. The beds are hard but it did not bother us, we slept good and calm."

"Bungalow I Talay Lanta surprised me positively, both with the size of the room and its location on the mangroves. No bad smells of sewage, no garbage, plastics, etc. Clean, quiet and a great view from the glass-walled room. In the immediate vicinity there are beautifully located restaurants. The only downside is the lack of bathing, but a scooter or car solves this inconvenience. The Old Town Lanta shopping network encourages shopping."

"If you are looking for affordable but at the same time really cosy&clean choice, then this is perfect spot. Only few rooms/bungalows next to fachinating Old Town, just few hundred meters walking to tasty restaurants. There are no beaches on this side of island but simply rent a scooter and it takes 15min to drive to beautiful southern beaches by crossing the island. When returning next time, I Talay will be my choice once again!"

"Adored the location on the edge of the Old Town, the views were exceptional. Nice and quiet and loved watching the sunrise and all the wildlife right from the room."
"More storage for clothes needed, huge room but with only a rail for clothes meant we were living out of the suitcases. Plenty of space for a wardrobe and some drawers would have been appreciated."
"The location and facilties were great. The property is located at the edge of the old town, but only 2 mins walk away, so is very quiet. The family are really lovely."
"On the website the room we booked showed photos where you could site on the side terrace and have a lovely view of the water. Unfortunately a tree has grown right in the middle, so blocking most of that view. You only get uninterrupted views from the 2 from apartments. So if you want that uninterrupted view you have to book one of those. The tree seems to be about 6 years old judging by its size, so the photo on the website is old. I mentioned this to the owner and said it gave a wrong impression on the view from at least one room and he said he would change the photo. The base of the bed has sharp corners. They could put some plastic corner protectors on."
