"Location of the hotel is superb, right in the middle of the delta Saloum, surrounded by the mangrove trees. The hotel has a magnificent view on the lake and the stay in the tree house was another adventure on its own."

A large ice cream gateau with sparklers was presented with singing and dancing from the staff which was fabulous."

"There was no lighting on the terrace, however it was explained to us that this was deliberate as light would attract insects as the terrace was so close to the river. This hotel is lovely but we did feel it was a little overpriced. However this will not deter us from returning again in the future"

"Beautiful hotel location, the grounds were very nice and peaceful with good facilities. Pool area and couches facing the mangrove are great areas to relax. Rooms were also very nice. Good mix of local and international food to choose from. Staff were very helpful and there were lots of activities/excursions available. Highly recommend the boat ride through the Delta."

"We booked the family suite for 4 people on booking.com however received 2 bungalows instead upon arrival. There were repavement works going on during our stay which blocked access to our room so we had to walk around the back through the garden bed to get to the door. Room was really nice however AC was not cooling the room properly and it would be good to have spare toilet paper or have it topped up during housekeeping."

Petit-déjeuner correct mais assez basique, avec peu de fruits et de produits locaux. J’ai organisé une privatisation du Nid d’Oiseaux à l’occasion de mon anniversaire, et la prestation a été tout simplement exceptionnelle. Je recommande vivement d’y inclure Lamine et son groupe de musiciens locaux : leur présence apporte une dimension authentique, en parfaite harmonie avec le lieu et son environnement naturel."

"Je dirais plutôt les points à améliorer que ce que je n’ai pas aimé, c’est l’accueil à la réception ou à part nous faire remplir les cartes de renseignements et nous donner les clefs, rien ne nous ait expliqué, aucun horaire, aucune information, j’ai vraiment trouvé ce point dommage car ils sont en première ligne avec le client, surtout le jour du départ j’ai trouvé ça très froid, à part ça le personnel était très gentil. Il serait aussi bien d’inclure plus de choix au petit déjeuner pour le rapport qualité prix, mais la cuisine reste très bonne et fraîche."
