"The stay was pleasant, but I must warn about the route suggested by the host. It is absolutely not recommended to walk downhill, as it is dangerously steep, and only very powerful cars should attempt the climb. For anyone not in excellent physical condition, walking uphill is an extremely tough challenge. It is strongly recommended to rent a car and take an alternative, longer but safer road. If the car is small, make sure to “take a run-up,” as local taxis do, to avoid engine issues."

"Very steep hill to get there, not really suitable for walking. It's doable, but hard. There are two ways up, one is very steep and the other is a bit longer but easier. If you have rented a car, no worries :). Or pay someone 50 scr to take you up."

"The most spectacular view you will find anywhere on Mahe and Nicholas was such a wonderfully attentive host. The apartment really has everything you need and, Nicholas was kind enough to leave us goodies in the fridge to get us going in the morning. The water dispenser for the kettle was a really nice touch too. Nothing was too much trouble for him.. the swimming pool was that added treat after coming home from the beach in the afternoon. There are lovely outside areas to sit and relax and even the barbecue area has a view."

"We weren't aware from the description that the apartment was within a house with other apartments sharing the house access, but it certainly wasn't an issue or a bother, just more noisy than usual. The only thing we didn't like was that the balcony has no privacy from the neighbours who are literally an arm's length away, but we didn't spend that much time on the balcony as the pool & outdoor areas were wonderful, so it also wasn't a bother."

"Victor and his dad were the best hosts ever, so kind, helpful and generous. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The view was stunning. We enjoyed having meals on the terrace. Kinds had fun in the pool. The beach was a short drive away, so the supermarket, bank and take aways. Takamaka was superclose, which was handy. A car is an absolute must while staying there. The road leading to the villa is very steep!"
