"Fantastic location on the beautiful island of praslin. The best thing about Indian Ocean Lodge was by far the staff. The are super friendly and take care of your every need. The service was impacable and especially the restaurant team around Babu, Vinay and Samantha made our stay perfect. Friendly atmosphere and everyone will remember you after day one. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special with you in paradise."

"My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and this was definitely one of the best hotels we’d ever stayed at! Whether it’s the garden area, the lobby, the restaurants or the rooms, everything is so beautifully put together! The view of the beach and the sea is just incredible and we just loved looking to the horizon while enjoying lunch or on our balcony! Finally, the staff… the staff really made our stay at Indian Ocean Lodge that much more special! We felt really well taken care of and we loved how lovely and attentive everyone was! You can truly tell that they all take a lot of pride in their work and that they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay! Special thanks to Babu who was brilliant and a lot of fun! We hope to be back one day!"

"While the property itself is exceptional, its location isn’t all that great. The beach is full of seaweed and as we were there during the July August season it was extremely windy."

"Small hotel but this provides closer and great treatment from staff. Rooms are specious, clean. Breakfast and Dinner was outstanding, by far better than in Kempinski we stayed afterwards. Reception very friendly and helpful."

"From the check in to check out the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay. The kitchen chef even introduced herself to us while our welcome drink Was served and we were amazed by the fully renovated property. The pools had enough sun beds and were not Too crowded and we could even enjoy the sea view and sundown whilst swimming. The rooms were well equipped, tastefully furnished and the beds were very comfortable. What made our stay even more special was the beautifully organized honeymoon dinner at the beach , that the staff provided and decorated for us. All in all it was a beautiful hotel, which we can strongly recommend."

"Only the Sandflies: We were completely covered from sand-fly bites that itch unbelievably and last up to more than 2 weeks. They live at the beach / pool area and should be mentioned by the hotel, as you will only notice them the next day dafür being bitten. We even had them treated with cortisone cream as they were so many and so severe."

"Best looking hotel in Praslin for sure (it was renovated lately). Very quiet and calm. Spacious and modern rooms, located just a few steps from the beach. Awesome pool and beach. Service at the restaurant was great."

"- The food was fine but not as good as we expected. They try to serve fancy dishes, but in fact they overcomplicate stuff and forget about the basics. E.g. some dishes were overcooked. - The service could be better. For example, they had some issue with breakfast in one of the days. The kitchen employees were late, so they started serving breakfast just a few minutes before we leave for a daily trip. I would expect some special treatment for such a failure."

"We were really happy about the very friendly and helpful staff. All our extra wishes and dietary requests regarding food were not an issue at all. Hotel had recently been renovated and everything looked really nice. We especially appreciated that they organized a small informal wedding ceremony at the beach for us during sunset with no extra cost! The manager himself was present to take pictures and a short video which he then sent to us. Great service."
